I am not mad at David Paterson, but my vote is for Andrew Cuomo. David Paterson hasn’t got a shot in hell of being elected governor this year. I am a black man. It is amazing that the polls in New York show Paterson getting 43 percent support from black people and Cuomo, 31 percent. I find that very strange. Black New Yorkers are not seeing the big picture. If you throw your vote away by voting for Paterson you will only make it easier for Rick Lazio and the Republican smear machine to march into New York the way they did in New Jersey. Lazio is leading Paterson in the polls but is far behind Andrew Cuomo. We know that the Governors race is in the bag for Cuomo, but it will be a travesty if Black New York voters throw their support behind the sinking ship David Paterson. That would only mean that black voters are only voting for Paterson because he is black. That is a dumb reason to vote for anyone.

Corzine lost in New Jersey because the black people who voted for Obama did not show up at the polls in New Jersey. Now New Jersey is right back to the racial profiling, revolving door prison police state it once was when Christie Whitman was Governor. Chris “Krispie Kreme” Christie is even making huge cuts in Education in retaliation of the teachers unions. Even Massachusetts has gone red. Let me also remind you of what Rick Lazio did during his debate with Hillary Clinton. Mm Hm.

DON’T MESS UP NEW YORK. VOTE ANDREW CUOMO. Forget about race. Paterson can’t win. Mario Cuomo, Andrews father, was undoubtedly the best governor New York has ever had. The Cuomos are good people. Andrew Cuomo has done a great job as Attorney General busting up the criminals. If we don’t rally behind the sure fire winner, Andrew Cuomo, we will run the risk of allowing the reactionaries to launch a smear campaign in NY. We don’t want any Tea Parties in New York. Please. Just vote Andrew Cuomo. It just makes sense.
