Senate Health Care Bill Includes Public Option

WASHINGTON — Majority Leader Harry Reid says health care legislation headed to the Senate floor will include an option for government-run insurance.

Reid says states will have the prerogative of opting out of the program if they choose.

Reid noted that polls show widespread public support for giving the government a role in the overhauled health care system envisioned by President Barack Obama and his allies in Congress.

    if it does pass all it will do is raise our taxes and it will be worse then what we have now trust me take a look a cananda and europe both of the public health care plans that they have dont work and they dont have close to 360 million people i hate to say this but obama is starting to remind me of all of the other so called black leaders they give a good speech but never deliver.
