im tired of these ronald reagan sound bites. look, america is hurting and untill our president begins to talk straight to the people in a way that makes sense, nothing will change. i love our president but he has to stop his party from taking contributions from corporate america before he screams, “foul play!”. when this happens, he will strenthen his democratic base like never before. but u cant fling mud without getting ur own hands dirty. if the democrats want to pass this bill, they will have to come clean with the american people about how much money is being thrown on the political stripper stage for them to take off all of their morality and obligations, while turning their backs on the voters who put them into power.

right now, it seems like the democratic and republicans are playing for the same team. im not saying 1 party should be like “lets do nothing about healthcare” and the other should be like “lets give the insurance companies 30,000,000 new customers to screw over”. it should be like 1 party says no and the other says “screw u, we are passing this bill with a public option, now!”.
the parties shouldnt be arguing about what policies to impliment overseas. 1 1 party should say we shouldnt have a war at all. the parties shouldnt be arguing about where to try ksm, 1 party should be trying the former administration. thats change we can believe in.

Dan Rather isn’t racist. I have seen him do many a commentary–especially on the plight of the inner cities and minority youth with concern. He is known for being very liberal and the watermelon comment wasn’t a statement about how HE feels about blacks, but how others feel about Obama’s skills.

Beck, Limbaugh, and Hannity have the American public in a strangle hold, and they aren’t releasing their grip anytime soon. I mean these guys literally have the public believing a Communist occupies the White House. The Obama Administration should have played hardball from the very beginning, but they chose to take the high road. It didn’t work. When a Republican comes on any show, and says “Health care needs reform, but Obama’s plan isn’t the reform we need.” The reporter should light his a$$ on fire for not having a plan in hand and for controlling the Congress for ten years without instituting a plan. The Republicans are getting a free pass, and the American people are going to suffer for it.

I could care less about this watermelon statement; I am still angry at the fact that Obama and the Democrats could not get a public option health care bill or even a watered down version of it passed with 60 democrats in the Senate. The United States of America is the only industrialized nation on earth that does not have a public option health care plan for its citizens. Meanwhile, these health insurance companies and CEO’S continue to make millions and millions of dollars of us for substandard health care coverage and they find every reason to deny us coverage. Wake up democrats and get a public option health care bill passed.
