As for the story, anyone who’s ever worked for tips knows that niggas don’t tip so I don’t see what the big fuss is. This is the act of one lone racist and all another boycott will do is hurt the economy more and innocent people will lose jobs. This is a culture problem because not all cultures feel it’s customary to tip. There are even some cultures who feel it’s an insult to tip like in Japan. I’m tired of white people thinking of black people as cheap because they don’t tip. Black kids get dressed up to attend church while white people let their kids go in shorts and sneakers. This is why I don’t like delivery. White delivery people are nasty and if they believe they are delivering to a black person they will spit in your food, rub their dyck in it or do some other nasty shyt to it. I am also careful at what restaurant I eat. If there are no black people in the back where they are making food I usually don’t eat there. They are nasty MOFOS.

funny thing is, most POOR people don’t tip, because they don’t have it like that and don’t feel you deserve a tip if you didn’t do anything but your job (which is to bring the shiite we ordered)! As a black female who is a server the black people are cheap tippers is bogus. If you’re cheap it doesn’t matter your race. Good service and charisma and actually get even the cheapest a*****e to tip. Also 10% is not a correct tip it is 15% or better. Employers factor tips into the rate of pay which is why it can legally be below minimum wage. As a server if you treat someone like garbage they will tip you that way!

Sometimes I wonder why do I even bother to comment. You all don’t even see the importance of this situation. Blacks don’t tip a lot because we, unlike whites don’t always have good jobs to let $10 dollars or more go without getting something in return for it. Whites can afford to throw away money, but black people have to hold onto it. I admit that I will tip well when I do no have to keep chasing down the server or if I do not see the server treating whites better than us.

I have gone out with some black women and they paid, but tried to find every little thing wrong in order to get out of tipping. Now, I have to admit that the black servers as usually more disrespectful to us than the whites. I guess it is the built-in blacks needing to disrespect each other crap. Whites (in most cases) will treat you a little better. The blacks act like they cannot talk to you while the white will talk a lot.

As for Dominos, they charge a ‘delivery fee’ (even though that is the business they are in) AND they want to tip? I ordered one time and it was snowing lightly. I live on the 3rd floor and the guy rang the bell. I buzzed him up. After 10 seconds, I did not hear anyone. I buzzed him again. He did not come. So I went all the way downstairs. This dude was in his car! THEN he get’s out. I said “what’s up with this?” The arabic type guy said “it’s snowing.” I said “it’s not snowing in the damned building!” The order came to $10.50. I gave him $11. He started to leave, then I said “what’s up with my change?” He actually started to keep leaving and then I yelled. He got mad and said no tip? I said when you deliver to the door, you get a tip. When I have to come all the way down the stairs, I need the tip! He then said he will never deliver again. It’s Domino’s – who cares?

I try and tip a litte bit whenever I can but I prefer to go pick my food up. This reminds me when I was working at Wal-Mart and this nigga had a Senator Series Lincolns Towncar or soemthing liek that and a rolex on his arm. I was doing a carryout and i’m thinkin to myself yeah this nigga gonna give me a tip. This nigga didn’t give me s**t. But I dould’ve known better when he was going out with the cheapest TV that Wal-Mart carried which was Apex or Onyx. But on the story the CSR could’ve typed this out and drive was a$$ed out.

But I what I found amusing after watching this is that it is never addressed if the lady actually does or doesn’t tip. I’m thinking that she probably doesn’t tip though so it is what it is.

@n0gar Having worked for Domino’s and Pizza Hut deliver fee’s go to the driver and they cover mainly car expenses. Remember a driver has to buy gas and have insurance along with monthly vehicle maintinence fee’s.

First of all that receipt looked as phony as thy come, where is the guy going to type that up in his car? Second I don’t tip and I’m white so whats the big deal? and as far as not tipping at a Walmart the workers there are not allowed to accept a tip to begin with and if they are caught they can get fired.

This is exactly why i dont eat from dominos anymore. I had a situation where i placed a delivery and the delivery guy told me he that ” even thou they deliver to my area, they dont deliver to my particular complex. ” mind you most of the people living at my complex are black! hmmmmm

Wow, a lot of what I am reading is a little disturbing. The bottom line is, people are people, and someone who does not tip is not relegated to your ethnic back round! People are so focused on who tips and why blacks or whites are the best tippers, you are not seeing the real problem. I wrote an essay on how in 2010, black and white perceptions and behavior in no different from 1960; what I am realizing that there is one major difference. It is our collective responses to things of this nature. In 1960, black people in the south had to, and for the most part, wanted too; frequent there own establishments. And if a group of black people went to an establishment that practiced systemic discrimination, it was done so out of protest, but during that period, the average black southerner would refuse to patronize such an establishment…..Now I am not sure if the young lady was suggesting that the receipt was a forgery, but this type of behavior is becoming more and more frequent in our society. In my opinion, the reason for this continued behavior is that we, as black men and women, have no clue of our collective economic strength? We have no idea of what out true economic strength can be, and we are to assimilated into this same culture to ever really understand how to effectively use it? Is it really important who tips the most, no; the bottom line is who brought the pizza or commodity in question? A few years back, I read an report that said “Black Americans spend so much money on items non essential to living, that if we actually found a way to pool those resources, we would be the 7th or 8th richest nation on the planet. You may say, that’s crazy, but let’s honestly look at what we spend on items like hair care, alcohol, lottery tickets and illegal substances? You may say, “other cultures spend money on those things as well“, I am not concerned about those other cultures!
People know we spend money and as long as we allow these companies to disrespect our economic strengths, they will continue to take our money and then spit in our faces. Let’s say in this one North Carolina town, 80 percent of the black population let it be known that they would no longer patronize that or any Domino’s; that company would probably conduct loss income assessments’ and perform as much damage control as needed, from sensitivity training to damage awards to what ever they had to do, base on projected losses. One of the problems we have is that we are so individually indoctrinated into this society, we would not know how to effectively dissimilate what is needed to be done. Accept to talk about who tips and doesn’t, and why?

N****rs get upset because a delivery driver, who everyone knows carries cash will not come too certain delivery area in the dark or areas that have been used to run pizza hustle (calling an order in to a empty apt. then steal the pizza), that sounds pretty smart to me on that drivers part, not to mention the company. Because of n****rs, Black folks who live in these places are made to suffer, because all dwellers of the hood are not n****rs or act like n****rs, they are just doing the best they can. If you do not factor a tip in when you go out to eat, stick too the fast food, this in response to a n****r who claimed because of employment he/she does not tip, get u some microwave dinners or continue getting Wu Fangs Chicken and rice, from behind 6 inch glass!!!! There is no excuse not to tip unless the service is unworthy. Whenever I step into a restaurant, I let the server know, he will be tipped well above the norm, if me and guest are treated well. I tell the hostess or the Maitre D (Jean Paul on “Hells Kitchen”, for you n****rs) be sure to let the server know i tip well for excellent service, which n****rs do not recognize. N****rs want to run the server ragged, sending back food, snapping finger, or even yelling across the place, which just makes black folks sick, you know along with everyone else in the place that these are n****rs and that kid is not going to get a tip. I am far from mad with Dominoes, this kid has probably dealt with that n****r before and his hand writing before he had time to think entered that on the ticket, it was mistake on his part, I guess she wants free pizza now, something for nothing!!!! It is now 18-20% of the total bill N****rs, be sure to read the fine print, because at most 4-5 star places, where surely you n****r will never go, it is already added into the bill, be sure to read, it won’t make you less of a person!!!! I reside in Upstate, SC and unfortunately, these type incidents are quite frequent and typical throughout the Southeastern US. A few years back, my two daughters and I were refused service after paying while frequenting a local area Little Ceasars Pizza. We were also prevented from browsing the electronics department of WalMart. The money was handed back to us, sans food after sitting for approximately 45mins to an hour outside of LS. The WM supervisor instructed his/her employees to secure (lock to a base) the digital cameras and mini-camcorders right in front of our faces. During both incidents caucasians were being serviced and allowed to browse while we suffered public humiliation, discrimination and violation of access to public services and accommodations. There were incidents with two area Bilo supermarkets and a federal/state funded charitable organization as well (cherry picking and misappropriation of funds). I took it upon myself to file official complaints with the SC Human Affairs Commission. I suggest the Apex, NC woman do the same.

I am a delivery driver, and I cant say who for, but I can tell you, there are areas I simply just wont go. I wont risk my life for your pizza. Sorry. Secondly, I have to PAY FOR MY GAS to get you your dinner. If I have 3 runs in my car and I KNOW you wont tip (white black, Indian, Purple polka-dotted) guess who’s getting their pizza last? No, I dont eat your topping, or open the box (though I have heard of stories of drivers spitting in the food when you dont tip) but I am not hurrying wasting my gas for nothing! And yes, believe me, we remember who you are! Those who I KNOW are going to give me a good tip… you get yours first!! Good tips = great service. no tip? why should we hussle and waste our gas? Gas is mad expensive. Many places today pay their drivers just like waiters (2.35/hr.) because they are EXPECTED to make the difference up in tips, only UNLIKE WAITERS we have the expense of filling up our tanks!

Lets useJapan as an example I lived there for almost 12 years and youre not required at restaurants there to tip and the customer service is excellent.
As far as the woman he made the statement about back people not having a chance to eat in a 4 or 5 star restaurant is an idiot and she needs to check her facts and see who spends the most money in this sad country of ours.
Why do we get mad at someone because they dont tip and not the business owner who dont pay you for driving your personal vehicle if the paid you what you really should be earning then the tips are just extras.
Believe me I did 20 years in the military and have been to several countries and we are no where near the top as far as customer service and ive seen alot of people other then black folks who dont tip.
As far as the one woman stated she would inform them when she arrives that she tips well for great service and that is where the problem starts you get what you pay for and you shouldnt have to pay for good customer service it should be expected and if it is and above standards then the tip should reflect it and no a delivery driver shouldnt expect a tip but if one is given then all is well .

@LEGIONNATION I’m sorry but unless you’ve ever worked for tips, your opinion holds no weight. A large percent of the way people think about and behave with money is based on their culture. When you work for tips for a short while, you begin to notice too-often predictable patterns among certain groups. A few other cultures here i the States (who shall remain nameless) are worse tippers on average than us. It’s not a stereotype or racist, it’s a fact.

I’m still wondering why one would boycott a company for one isolated but publicized incident amongst over 8,000 stores worldwide. That would be like if I swore off of women because I heard about how this one girl in Minnesota did some guy dirty.

It’s true, black people don’t tip. I worked for tips throughout college, and a huge percentage of black customers didn’t tip. They held their hands out and put their change in their pockets. My parents fuss at me all the time b/c they say I don’t need to be tipping, or if we’re at a restaurant, they saw to leave about $4. So $4 on a $60 bill? I don’t even go out to eat much with my friend anymore b/c when it’s time to leave a tip, she’s quick to say “I don’t have it”. This is sick what these people did, but blacks don’t tip. I know from experience working for them.

The “don’t tip” comment appears to be a heads up to the driver that they won’t be getting a tip when they deliver. But most likely the driver never noticed the comment and gave the receipt to the lady. Trying to be a smart azz and lost your job. Good one.

Funny thing is, i had a delivery from them 2 weeks ago. The order was $18.00 and i gave the driver a $3.00 tip instead of $5.00. The bill had a $2.00 tip already included.

I wish I could get a tip for gas each time I drive to work but like any other job I have to budget what funds I have and wait till next payday.

I am a slave to being served —-AND I PAY FOR IT. I am very glad to tip well for prompt, polite and good food. Talking straight here. If you use them often and it’s just one or two trips that you’re a bit tight on $$ they Will let it pass for a couple of times especially if you have had large orders. But other wise don’t try that with a regular cause in my nice suburban hood, I would whoop your ass if I saw that on my receipt . Bad Manners are the only EXCUSE for bad service.

I drove a taxi for 17 years and unfortunately it is true. It is one of the main reasons taxis pass up black fares!! I am AA and telling the truth. Waitresses and bartenders will tell you the same thing.

Niggas don’t tip?? Well that may be true to a certain extent. My problem is when I lived on the East Coast and I dined out a lot. I would pay for my check with a debit/credit card and leave a CASH tip on the table. Why is it when I would get my bank statement I would see a charge for $5.oo dollars or more over the amount of check? These bastard waiters and waitresses would swipe my card for the amount of the check and pre authorize that amount, and of course I would sign it, but then go BACK and add gratuity..WTF?? so they would get tipped double.

Hmmmmm! My man and I eat out from time to time and we always try and tip whether the service is good or lousy. But we do tip better for better service, and yes it was just a few minutes ago that tip money paid for my gas and books for school so I know first hand the struggle of waiters /waitresses and even the delivery guy who brings the food to the door. But for real DOMINO’s Pizza is just always been the nastiest crappy pizza I have ever tasted anyway so I don’t eat it anyhow!

Uhm, why do a large number of people on here seem to be Domino’s bashing? Did you even read the article or are you just having a gut reaction to the headline? Domino’s took the responsible action of getting rid of the person that caused all this.

For the record Domino’s is a fantastic company that helped out hundreds of people during Hurricane Katrina. Even though they lost almost half their stores in the devastation they brought in generators and pumped out pizza after pizza for the first responders, relief workers and victims of the tragedy.

OK, I do not agree with firing the driver that delivered the pizza. He is not the responsible person that printed the receipt. People say this like he physically wrote those words on the receipt…but if you look at it, it is clearly printed on their which mean that the register printed the receipt. Now registers are run by computer software, so for the receipt to actually say this means the “N” word was programmed to print this way. This is above the driver’s pay grade or responsibility because he does not program the software.

What the store own did was micro-manage the situation by firing the driver, but it is not his fault, it is the company’s fault. Apparently someone changed the software to print that way and no telling how long the receipts have been printing like this. Most people do not read the whole receipt, just the amount and that is it. So my question is this: How long has this been going on un-noticed and what is Domino’s going to REALLY do about the situation because it is a lot deeper than one receipt. Also, I think the driver should get his job back because he is a victim of circ**stances here; did he even know the receipt has that word on it?

The driver didn’t program that damned thing to print the receipt; the manager has responsibility for it, even if he or she didn’t do it. So, the manager should have taken responsibility for the problem, given the woman a refund and an apology, then taken care of the problem in-house.

I don’t tip because a person chooses a low paying gig and needs the extra to make it worth it, I tip based of good service and the amount of the tip depends on how good the service is. Point blank, call me what you want but you can’t call me unfair.

I feel its the way your raised, growing up I didnt know you were suppost to tip. My grandma would put two or three dollars on the table I thought she was doin that to be nice. As I got older and started to work. I was in High school I learned that you are suppost to as well as a certain percentage and of course depending on the service. I tip very well now every where I go restaraunts, barbers, valet. I have noticed mainly the black population does not tip. Blacks own plenty of businesses now and we still would rather hold our race back and go somewhere else. I’ve been a buisness owner since I was 17. I’m now 22. Every single white person that I can remember coming to my place has tipped me. Blacks on the other hand very, very, very seldomly do. During my last year of undergrad I remembered a black woman (who once came frequently) asking if the car parked by the side gate of my place was mine. I told her yes, she gave me this look and never came back. I TOTALLY DO NOT agree with what that Domino’s establish did, whoever is responsible, but it holds some truth. We need to learn how to support each other and come together and it’s a shame that something negative has to occur before we start talking. Hope I didn’t offend anyone. I’m just saying.

First of all, don’t label all Black people as not tipping because this is not true! My mom was a waitress and taught me the importance of tipping because that’s what put food on our table! I myself, always make it a point to tip a little more than the 20%, sometimes even when I feel service “sucks”. Only, because I know tips are what pay the bills for them. But when I feel service was lacking, I don’t bite my tongue to let them know where they did the disservice, I tell them straight up that they were rude, or didn’t give attentive service, or whatever the case may be! I try to be as communicative as possible!

You all have some serious issues.

1. I tip 99.9% of the time and the .1% that I don’t is usually based on extremely poor service. I have over 5 years of customer service experience and I can tell you that the customer DOES NOT pay for good service they pay for their for food. Good quality service is EXPECTED!!! Customer service should be a TOP priority no matter what the business is!!

2. I am offended that anyone would have the AUDACITY to PRINT that on a receipt!!!! It simply shows you lack of values and work ethic as a working adult. If the “Non-tipping niggas” stopped ordering pizza just b/c they can’t tip, then that crappy ass job would exist anyway. Which brings me to my next point.

3. It is not my fault that you chose to work a job paying $3/hr that requires you to use your own vehicle, supply your own gas, and deliver to high risk neighborhoods. Taco Bell is always hiring and you will get your full $7.65/hr regardless of how you get to work or who you speak to.

4. Lastly, if a person does not tip you, it is their choice. It is tacky to some extent, to sit down for a full meal, have the server running around and not tip them that 15-20%.

BUT in most places gratuity in factored in to your bill (i.e service charge, delivery fee, etc.). And if you are ever so privileged to travel outside of this capitalist country, you will find that people don’t tip in Europe or Japan. And you will get the BEST service ever!!!

I have to say, that there is def. truth to this article. I am a white dude, so I’m sure people will think I’m a racist just for commenting on the topic, but as a person who worked in both the restaurant and bar industry, the stereotype that “black people don’t tip” is true, and felt the same by both black and white people who work in the industry. OBVIOUSLY, not ALL black people don’t tip, but if you look at the majority, they are either non tippers, or don’t tip the right amount. And I have worked with black bartenders and servers, and they will tell you the same thing. So it doesn’t have anything to do with the color of the person serving them either… the black servers would get stiffed as well.

And I strongly disagree with the income level being a factor. I being from Cleveland, OH, personally know, and have worked with someone who has had to serve LeBron James and family on a few occasions. He and his family came into House of Blues for his private event, were VERY demanding of his server, his Mom being the main culprit, requesting drinks be sent back and remade, buying drinks for random other people and sending the server out to serve them, etc etc. And just being very rude in general. The server was EXTRA nice, knowing her boss was 2 feet away, and that he’s loaded and high profile. They bill was $1000′s by the end of the night and they didn’t even leave her $1. That’s just f**ked up.

I do love the fact that most of all the people commenting on this article are black, and recognize that it is a problem, don’t want to be stereotyped that way, and want change. That’s positive in many ways. I agree with most that if you don’t have the money to tip, don’t go out. Or go to a cheaper restauarant where your bill will be less, and so will the tip. Servers and bartenders are not paid minimum wage, and do rely on their tips. some others like Valet drivers, bellboys, etc. also rely on tips. I however, do not believe that everyone should be tipped… i.e. coffee shop employees, subway workers, and others who get paid at least min. wage, if not more, with benefits and all that. But if you do think they did a good job, were nice to you, and went out of their way to make you feel happy, then yea, throw them a dollar.

I will tip sometimes above the standard amount especially if the worker was very good because we all know there are some who don’t deserve a tip but I give it anyway. I am now 45yrs old and have 4kids which I raised single as a mom. All my kids tip and now my grandkids are learning the value of tipping those who serve you. So stop the madness! Where is the national survey that collected thousands of receipts from black people and made a statistical analysis of who tipped what and in what parts of the country etc. Also, black people spend the most money in this country more than other races. So if “we” don’t tip who cares we more than likely spent thousands eating out, on electronics, cars, clothes etc. And “we” only make up 13 percent of the entire population. So you’re telling me that Asians, Hispanics, and other minorities are top notch tippers? GET THE F outta here with that BS. “We” have been the stimulus package long before Obama signed off on it. To tip or not to tip is each person’s choice. Personally, I tip a minimum of 20% for good service. For bad service, nothing. However, from some of the posts on here, it seems kinda obvious that alot of people have no idea how the foodservice industry works regarding tipping.

Because start-up costs are so high and profit margins so small, the average American restaurant has to be in business for five years before it even begins to make a profit. Most restaurants don’t last that long.

One of the ways a restaurant helps keep it’s expenses under control (thereby keeping their food prices affordable) is through the practice of tipping. If, as some people here have suggested, they just paid the staff more money so that people weren’t expected to tip, WHERE do you think that money is going to come from? They’re going to raise their prices, that’s where it’s gonna come from!

Personally, I’d rather pay ten dollars for a pizza and tip the driver $3-4 than get charged twenty dollars for the same pizza.

For the people who said they don’t tip because they “can’t afford to,” if you can’t afford to go to a restaurant and leave a tip, them maybe you don’t have enough money to eat out? Maybe you should stay home and cook, or eat someplace where tipping is not expected.

Like it or not, that’s the way the restaurant business works. It’s one of the few businesses that provides both a product (the food) AND a service (cooking it and serving it to you). You don’t get one without the other, so why should we think we can pay for one and not the other.

What small minded little white people never admit is that it is not limited to one race that doesn’t seem to tip very well.

As a Valet for nearly two years at some of Atlanta 4 & 5 star hotels, I have found a few groups that do NOT tip.

1) Real Estate wanna-be’s – at a real estate meeting there were sooooooooooooooo many brothas and sistas who left you hanging yet wanted to be treated like a vip. OR were too cheap to pay us so parked themselves. (way before the recession)

2) Asians – from what I understand it is not in their custom, and they practice it very well NOT to tip at all. Trust me!!

3) Home Bank – I have always wanted to put that group on blast cause they were the very worst tippers ever. I guess accountants are penny pinchers and I have learned my lesson to never date one too!! (ex girlfriend)

4) Middle Easterners – self explanatory.

clydebane – keep in mind that people in restaurants actually end up “paying” for their mistakes cause uncle sam assumes every hour they make a certain amount of tips per hour. So if you dont tip them, it comes out to be almost 3$ it costs to the wait staff. Give or take a few cents.

People need to be Thankful to God but more importantly thankful to the people involved in preparing our meals that we pray will make us healthy and strong.

This is the only country where tipping has become “a Demand for Payment”… services have actually gone as far as adding a tip to your bill “weather you like it or not.” I suppose now, if I don’t tip (server had an attitude, or I just didn’t want to) I can expect to receive a letter in the mail from a collection agency, have my credit score reduced to zero, and a lean placed on my home… Oh yeah… did I mention the cross burning in the front yard the next morning… uuuhhh… and the increased medical bills I will incur from having both of my nee caps broken. And, I guess if I really make the server mad I’ll actually wake up the next morning on a slow boat to Chine with cement overshoes on… WOW… all of that, and all I really wanted was a hamburger. Maybe I should have stayed home and popped some popcorn, hell… I’m scared to go out anywhere anymore, these people can be mean…. you got bouncers beating the shyt out of people for no reason, and everything else… how about getting your salad tossed in your face by your date… do I still need to leave a tip then too?

SOME POINTS OF INTEREST:

1) I work in the ground transportation industry, tipping does let someone now that what they did for you was appreciated. That’s why it’s called a Gratuity… the question is, is it ok to Demand a tip by adding it to your bill with-or-without your OK..? They use to ask first you know.

2) Tipping use to be cool (a kind of gift)… now that it’s added it to the bill it’s no longer a “tip”… it’s a Charge… and yes… the IRS sees it that same way, and you “WILL” have to pay taxes on them… so that 15% tip just became a 12% tip. For you the customer, by it being added to your bill now you have a legitimate write off for that grat.

3) Whites DO tip “white” drivers better.

4) Yes, Blacks do tip.

5) Asians are the least likely to tip…i.e. the Japanese custom is $1 dollar US, as Gratitude.

6) Wealthy people are the “cheapest” tippers of all… 20% of the customers we service are coming from 3 to 5 million dollar homes… MOST do not tip anything (black or white).

It’s funny… those who can least afford it, seem to be the ones who give the most.

It’s sad.

NOW here’s “my” Tip… MANAGEMENT… sets the culture in any business… I’m sure this Domino’s has done a lot worse to it’s black patrons.

Maybe I’m old fashioned… but if you call me a nig-ger (black or white) I’m gonna give you a tip alright… the tip of this Dik. No… I take that back, because I don’t put my Dik in shyt… it’s a waist of time…I move on, I have more important things to do. My lawyer would be the one to handle this.

If you tip or not they will mess with your food for the hell of it….it doesn’t matter to them if you get sick or not….They do not care about the tip…..Eating out to me is a health harzious for anyone …..All that matters to them is that they think its funny ….

I’m a black delivery guy and i can categorically state that BLACK PEOPLE ARE THE WORST TIPPERS! Not all but most are! Doesn’t matter if you come in a monsoon or blizzard; NO TIP! Its not funny; we make our living from tips and its a shame that i have to say that i prefer to deliver to white people because a) White folks TIP and b)White people are friendlier when you show up to their door. Black people are rude and cheap. Black people want top-notch service but don’t want to tip a least and damn dollar or two! This is basic etiquette that black folks are sorely lacking! If you can’t afford to tip then eat a bologna and cheese sandwich! Like i said i’m black and my comments are made from experience; and again, its definitely not all black people but most.

im with doorgunner, you get a tip for going ABOVE AND BEYOND your job. Its your job to deliver pizzas in monsoons and blizzards. YOU signed up for that job. It aint my responsibility to make you feel good about your job. And I do tip all waiters and drivers when I get service ABOVE AND BEYOND what i expected, but no, you get no EXTRA CREDIT for doing the assignment YOU signed up for.

Asians r the best tippers, then white, then jews then west indian indians, then north american blacks, then west indian blacks then east indians.

i am a black bellman at a 4d hotel,and sad to say very few blacks tip, and they work u the hardest,they show up in very very nice cars,coverd in gold and diamonds,lv bags, and dont tip,when i fist started working there i wonderd why the white bellman ran away when they saw them comming,now i know, while u wast your time with them,the whites are making rent money with there own, ps we make 5,25 hr,

Maybe it’s your attitude. I don’t buy your explanation. I can sense when someone has stereotyped me before I can say or do anything. It’s an uncomfortable feeling and it’s offensive as well. And again, no one HAS to tip you. Hard to accept, I know, but don’t make it a race thing, I’m sure whites have worked your butt off and not tipped you either.

A similar story occur few years ago in a clothing store named Journeys. A racist European American working at the journeys store type the words “Dumb n****r” on a young black man receipt (this young black man was Keith Slater) so its not the first time that those people act like that with us. In the case of the Domino Pizza its true that they have fired the white racist who wrote that but i wonder if the employee was black and this black worker decided to wrote “The mother f**king honkey and f**king cracker b***hes don’t Tip” on a white customer’s receipt what would be the consequences. This event would be on the news papers with bold letters “Black racist put racist comment on a client’s receipt”.

I’m black and I tip more than the usual 10% or 15% when I get good service especially. I truly do not appreciate the generalized statements and sterotypes that ALL of us are like this. That’s a very ignorant statement because ALL blacks don’t fit into this category.
