I don’t think anyone in thier right mind could defend the ACORN employees that were caught on those videos. But this was his claim to fame and therefore the association. I don’t think anyone is trying to “vindicate” ACORN for having a poor vetting process and hiring anyone with a pulse as they appeared to have done but this man’s actions and puported crimes speak for themselves. To sit there and say “yeah ACORN is bad too” is missing the point. Let’s not forget that ACORN paid the price through a loss of federal funding and total public hummiliation. Guess what? They deserved it! Now we’ll have to wait and see what comes out in subsequent days about this mess but I for one will be watching with keen interest.
