I live in Detroit and Kilpatrick’s only crime, besides getting caught(LOL) is being Black. This is how whites have filled their pockets since the beginning to time. White Europeans stole blacks from Africa, bought them to America,bred us like animals, then stole the Red Man’s land for the Love of Money! This is how they have always operated! First of all, FUKK the white man and his transgressions in office. The thought that this behavior is the status quo and should be accepted is what OUR problem is. We need to hold ourselves to a higher standard and NOT follow the white mans lead. And brother Kilpatrick obviously did not do a good enough job in emulating his white criminal counterparts who have not been brought to justice. As a native, lifelong and proud Detroiter I can tell you this: this cat should never have run for mayor. He’s smart, charismatic, well spoken, holds a law degree, taught in Detroit public schools and is “cool” (the downfall of so many black folks). However, he should have stayed in the house of representatives where he could have positioned himself to become the state’s first black Governor. He was the youngest majority leader in the history of the United States. They LOVED him in DC. He should have stayed there. Gil Hill, of Beverly Hills Cop fame, who was a longtime Wayne County Sheriff’s deputy, Detroit Police officer and city council president should have won that first election. Kwame should have stayed away from “the crib”. “The crib” tends to keep us in old thought patterns and behaviors. It keeps us in touch w/old friends; both good and bad. Temptation lies in the hood. We know how to move and operate in silence in the hood. We know how to manipulate the hood. Sometimes it’s good to get out of the hood. And on top of all that, EVERYBODY in Detroit between the ages of 30 – 40 who was in that social circle knew what this nygga was doing. EVERYBODY. He was so arrogant that he just didn’t care. He’d just get on TV and lie and nyggas would accept his apology. I’m sure brother Kilpatrick will be thinking about all this while he, his father, , mother (a congresswoman), Art Blackwell, Monica Conyers, and numerous other relatives, associates and Detroit politicians serve their time. Remember that when you force people to pay you monies under the table to do business w/you, the feds are going to get them to (easily) flip on you when they find out. The most they’ll be facing is a fine and even though they made money w/you they’re going to be mad as hell that you bullied them in the first place. NO ONE likes a bully. And again, FUKK what white politicians do in office. You’re better than the white man. You don’t have to stoop to his level.
