Rush Limbaugh is actually taking legal matters to sue those who have accused him of “racially devisive comments”, and you know what? NO ONE has been able to find any. But here are the facts: 1) Despite all of the claims from guys like you, Keith Oberman, Jack Huberman, Chris Matthews, etc., not one of you has been able to come up with a single clip; not one actual tape of Rush making any such statement; 2) The statements attributed to him always seem to be from his distant past -the slavery comment were supposed to be from the 1970s, other comments from the late 80s and early 90s- why are these things just coming out now, when Rush is trying to buy a ball team? Where were these accusations and recriminations when he supposedly made the comments? 3) Too many black ball players, politicians, writers, etc., vouch for this guy -and all of the ones who have condemned him admit that they a) never actually listen to his show and b) don’t actually know the man. Those that do know the man count themselves as his friend and defend him. It is tough to refute that. 4) (And this is the big one): Rush Limbaugh put up one million dollars for any person who could prove that he made any of those comments. One million dollars to anyone who could produce an audio tape of him making any such statement. That was several years ago and no one has ever collected. A million dollars is a lot of money. If the proof were out there, someone would have collected the money by now.

“SLAVE SYSTEM”

Now think about this: The terms “slave” and “slavery” have been used to refer to our history and our heritage here in America since our arrival, but our foremothers and fathers were not in slavery nor were they slaves. They were people just like you and me, thinking, feeling, and dreaming.

What no one ever says is that we were placed in a “SLAVE SYSTEM.” If you think “slave system”, you will get a completely different history of our existence here in this nation than the common references to slaves or slavery provide.

Don’t use the word “slave” or “slavery” because they only promote the SLAVE SYSTEM. As long as the educational system is teaching with the words “slavery” or “slave” to our children young minds, it will only perpetuate the pattern of invalidation of the African American in America and also to people of the world.

The words SLAVE and SLAVERY start everyone out in our country and the world thinking of us in a very negative way.
