OPINION: Where Was Joe Wilson For Bush’s 935 Lies?

Joe Wilson is an idiot. Still, you have to admire his testicular fortitude for interrupting the president during his speech to congress on health care. He was clearly offended by the fact that Obama might give health care to illegal aliens. Independent fact checking organizations have determined that Obama was in no way giving a false statement. Still, what if he was lying and Obama was secretly planning to give migrant workers health care? That would hardly be the worst thing a President had lied about.

If Democrats had the testicular fortitude to call out Bush on his lies, maybe we could have avoided the war in Iraq. The center for public integrity determined that the Bush administration made 935 false statements (lies) to get us into the war in Iraq. If one Democrat had the courage that Wilson had and called out the Bush administration on one of their 935 lies that led to the war in Iraq, maybe we wouldn’t have wound up in this mess.

Because of the war in Iraq, 4,346 American soldiers have been killed and 31,494 have been wounded. On top of that, it is estimated that over 100,000 Iraqi civilians have died during the war in Iraq. Those 935 false statements led to thousands of people dieing for false reasons. Obama’s one lie (if you give Wilson the benefit of the doubt) would lead to immigrants getting health care.

So, Mr. Wilson, may the party that is without sin cast the first stone from one of John McCain’s 10 glass houses. Given the fact you strongly supported George Bush and his 935 lies that led to a war, you are hardly in the position to call our President a liar. If only you had the same desire for truth in matters of war and life and death that you have for illegal aliens getting health care, I might be able to take you serious.

    thank you my brother, it’s about time somebody called out bush, now we look at the news and we see people carrying rifles while Mr. President is speaking, of course they are claiming the second admendment right to bare arms, well answer this, where were these fools when bush was in office lying about weapons of mass destruction, to quote, we didn’t even find a super soaker over there, yet we have all these dead americans over a lie from bush, can anybody help me with this i’m confusedm yet we have this fool interupting the president about health care for illegal immigrants, come on now, something is mighty wrong

    Actually.. There was NO way to avoid the Iraq war! This was all a part of a much larger scheme called the ‘New World Order’! WWI, WWII, Vietnam, the Original Gulf War (started by Bush Sr.) and the 9/11 WTC event was all started by and staged by the U.S. Govt. If you don’t believe me (and I’m sure most of you don’t) just Google-> Trilateral commission, New World Order, Bilderberg Group, North American Union. Go ahead. Then post your findings here. Also.. (and I know THIS comment is gonna make me REALLY UN-popular on here) Obama is not whom everyone thinks he is! He’s in with the Bush Clan, and the rest of the No-Good Wall Street and Federal Reserve Elites. You’ll find out one way or another, sooner or later.. ;-)

    People need to stop kidding themselves…Right Wing or left wing, its part of the same bird..Wilson and others are not hypocrites..its politics..or should I say Politricks…These people are running a shell game, and people have to be out of their mind if they think Obama is gonna be any different than Bush..These elected officials are about maintaining status quo THAT’S IT!!

    It beggars belief what all the fuss is about in regards to Obamas healthcare reform plan, is’nt he just trying to make the healthcare more accessable for folks that can’t get it?Clearly this is more about Obama being black and the president more than anything else.Personally the so called people that are making such a protest about this are clearly brain dead and should crawl back into their holes where they should be shot.Obamas short term in office so far shows to me that he is doing a good job and is more a capable president than that other inbreeding sack of s**t George Bush.If anyones a blatant liar its this fool.I’m suprised he has’nt been brought up on charges and locked up yet.
