Police Taser 10-Year-Old Girl In Arkansas

The mayor of a small Arkansas town wants an independent investigation on whether it was appropriate for a police officer to use a Taser on an unruly 10-year-old girl who kicked him in the groin.
Mayor Vernon McDaniel says he wants Arkansas State Police or the FBI to look into whether the use of the Taser was proper. The girl, who hasn’t been identified, wasn’t hurt and is now at the Western Arkansas Youth Shelter in Cecil.
Ozark police were called to the home Nov. 11 after the girl’s mother couldn’t get the child to take a shower.
Ozark Police Chief Jim Noggle, who has defended the officer’s action, didn’t immediately return a call for comment Wednesday morning.

wow..whn my lil sisters were that age they didnt want to take a shower..i just pourd dish soap n dove body was on them. They had no other choice but to take it. Calling the cops n taser’n a lil kid..iz sum bullshxxt!!!

it’s the parent fault…who the hell calls the cops cause their child wont take a shower…I would of beat her so bad everytime she heard my voice she would of ran to the shower….but wants really funny is that i can go to jail for beating my child and the cop can send GOD only know how many vaults of electricity through her….he lite that a$$ up for real…lol….my child fears ME and GOD

okay let me get this straight, the mother called the police not because she was being abused by the teen or the teen was stealing from her, but because she wouldn’t take a bath..A BATH…come on parents take your control back and whoop that ass especially for something like this. I heard about this story and the mother gave him permission to taser her. What if the child would have had a seizure or something after that was done, I bet her story would have changed. Whoop that ass parents…stop trying to be friends with your child when it comes to telling them what to do and you won’t get results like this. My mom would have whoop my ass and sent my ass to bed stinking and made me go to school like that. After the kids at school would have clowned him/her enough she would have rushed home to take one, or called her/his mom to come and get them and I would have said oh no buddy, enjoy your day. WHOOP THAT ASS….wouldn’t take a shower lol lol lol
right soveu, if i spank my son in public i get arrested… so now i know i can just call the police to tazer his 2 year old asss, because nothing says parental responsiblity like letting the government provide physical discipline to your child, because its illegal for you to do it.
If their juvenile laws are the same the mother will be paying for her child being arrested and housed at the juvenile facility that you can bet. But she most likely will have to prove she can’t afford it and than us tax payers will be footing the bill oh well just add it to the others we pay.
Yeah, I dont get it that its ok for a school official, police officer and some government officials to tear your childs azz up but if you as a parent decide to lay some discipline on their lil bad azz you breaking the law
Go figure the government dont know wtf their doing as long as your not abusing your child or placing them in harms way you should be able to discipline them to prevent for dealing with this type of bs
Couldn’t get the child to take a shower? See, this is what happens when you use modern day parenting techniques as opposed to good old fashion physical discipline. Stop trying to be your kids friends and buddy and be their parents. Lay down the law in your home and clearly define your role as a parent. This is why I feel no sympathy for these crying women on these talk shows telling Maury or whoever that they can’t control their kids. Translation: your parenting is devoid of adequate discipline.

I agree, we can’t beat them but the state can taze them and charge them w/a felony assault. Now the child’s in juvie for not taking a bath…hmm..this is our tax dollars at work. I hope kickin that cop in the nuts was worth it. The state should charge Mom for it all. From 911 call, public defender fees and lock down fees need to come out of her pocket. The state get federal money for them kids which makes them harder to get back once they in the system. I wonder if she’ll lose custody
