This discussion was not about defending black criminals at all. Unless you’re talking about the criminal acts police are performing against black males nationwide. SO JUST SO WE ARE ALL ON TOPIC, the discussion here is about SWORN PEACE OFFICERS who racially profile LAW-ABIDING black males, make up false reasons for pulling them over, claiming they FIT THE DISCRIPTION of someone involved in a crime, illlegal searches which are routinely done in black communities, and finally black males being shot or beat to DEATH at the hands of these white officers. We even know the end of the story, whether the black male is an innocent citizen, a fellow officer, an acclaimed Ivy-League professor, or a person with some criminal past…doesnt matter. The officers never get convicted of anything. It doesn’t take another one-sided police investigation to know this is wrong. I have never been a criminal, yet I have been pulled out of my car and harrassed by police, twice handcuffed for 20 minutes after an illegal stop and search (never even receiving a ticket), and I’ve had police rifles pointed at me. So, to be clear, we arent talking about letting CRIMINALS go free because they are black. The topic is the abuse of black citizens at the hands of those given the responsibility of protecting us. WE SHOULD BE OUTRAGED that more of our black men die at the hands of police than in war.

you know what,i might sound ignorant of what im about to say,or maybe its just me being angry over this police brutality mess.it is definetly racial profiling in the police departments.(been like that for hundreds of years)everytime a black man or woman is shot to death,or beat by a so-called sworn to protect police officer,it is always justified!let a black person even try to attempt to touch a police officer,than it is called aggravated assault on a so called peace officer(peace,yeah right)for you so called law-biding people who dont see profiling in the black community,you are either a racist,uncle tom,or in denial.which catorgory do you fall in.i believe as long as they can get away with it,it is sad to say that it is gonna continue.you know what is even more scary,we are goona lose more brothers and sisters to these racist,trigger happy police!

dear friends : as a moslem i can say that racism is a manner of people who don’t beleive in god and his will , islam came to insure equality , in islam’s first phase there were alot of nationalities lived in peace & love with each other like suhaib the roman , salman the persian , abu bakr & omar the arabians & ” belal ” the ethiopean .

here is a revolutionary thought, stop doing criminal behavior and you wont have to deal with the justice system or law enforcement, luckily criminals have people like this writer to take their side against law enforcment, too bad this writer dont see that the criminals victims are 90% black. I wonder if the writer ask the criminals have they ever murdered a old women or raped a young girl or robbed a man coming home from work or shot a boy by mistake waiting for school bus.

I dont think this writer lives in the ghetto so its easy for him to criticize the police because his neighborhood doesnt interact with them like in the ghetto, “keep criticizing from afar writer dont worry we are the only victims here”.

It continues to be sad but realistic event across the U.S. I have a degree in Criminal Justice, and ex-law enforcement officer for 8 years; I do have the insight to make an intelligent and experienced comment on this subject. There are good and bad people in all professions, law enforcement is not an easy profession; however there are those that have issues with those that are different from themselves. This too is typical with all professions, the other professions do not carry a gun and judge people based on the color of their skin. A large percentage of those in law enforcement have not come in contact with Black people-they mainly see us (Blacks) as we a portrayed on TV, movies, and what their are taught by peers. There is a higher level of fear by law enforcement of Blacks (male) than any other race in the U.S. It may be a time in history when they wish they would have reached our to those they view as the enemy. Pray for all involved.
