This is kind of like the idea of, do you legally intervene with someone who could hurt themselves or someone else or do you let the first hurt someone and then punish them?

Depending on the crime, I think there has to be some common sense changes. For example, did they have the wrong person when they initially searched and found the drugs on the man? Yes. But should the fact that by accident they discovered the person had drugs on them negate that person needing to face up for the crime of drug possession anyway? No. That one mistake on the officer’s part and his subsequent jail time quite possibly saved someone’s life, even his own.

I noticed they made sure they mentioned a drug charge following the incident….. but its irrelevent since the reason they stopped her wuz cuz she was riding on bike on the sidewalk. They HAD 2 find sum sort of drug charge 2 try 2 get a few ppl on their side!! But no matter if she wuz a drug dealer, gangbanger, street walker, or simply bike riding, once she was handcuffed, the USE OF FORCE should have ceased….. BY LAW!!!
