Actually no, they don’t make enough. I’m a loan officer for BOA. However I have been in the military 8yrs and deployed to Iraq twice. So we were over there playing police. That being said you can make certain assumptions about people. That doesn’t make it right. I think the officer was witch hunting. Where I’m from, when an officer detains you like that, the alleged person wouldn’t be able to stand in front of car swinging his arms like that without being covered, thus this officer felt no real danger from this teen. Knowing that, he crossed the line when he choke slapped the teen. Even when the teen was pummeled, he didn’t resist arrest. This officer was sifting for a reason. A cop like this wouldn’t last a day in Philadelphia, PA. Either his peers would chastise him or the streets would claim him. Sigh another unfortunate instance of walking while black.

I watched this video twice. each time I came to the same conclusion. This Officer not only belittled this young man, but he lead him into a situation that could have gotten really bad. He did tell the young man to look him in the eye and say it, and when the young man complied he pushed him to the ground with some force. Not once did the young man not respond to his demands. This is the kind of Officers that make it bad on other very good Officers. This man should truly find another job, and should not be allowed to deal with the public.

I can’t even be mad at the cop. We have so much drug activity around here. The guys are practically in uniform all wearing the same thing practically every day and hoodies in the dead heat of summer.
