It’s a shame and this time no one can really say the man was in the wrong. He obviously was following suite and this rookie cop took advantage of the poor fella. I hope justice is served…and I don’t mean with the death penalty.

That’s just an example that no matter the occasion or who is in the White House, our young people will never be able to earn the ire and respect of those that are so willing to blatantly abuse their authority…

It’s time for a change, but not just the kind of change white America is eluding to.

This goes way deeper than our present economic crises. This goes down to the root of all of our inner cities and our young people!

It seems to me the police are hiding the fact, there was really no reason to be that aggressive, all the men were being compliant, and not doing any thing at all to cause a problem. If this was not caught on tape. I wonder would this even be on the news.

my feelings is and i am not backing down or do i feel no way partial to the idea that the young man Oscar Grant is African-American. the death penalty should be sought after. the officer(s) were overly aggressive and they abused their power. why should we as american’s have to suffer such abuse and insult.
this/these offciers were trained, and i believe the officers that were there should be present for his execution as well as any other officer who feels like they could even try to justify such sickening so called acts of justice. i am a student of criminal justice and they say they use these penalties and other penalties as a deterence.now lets implement them.

This has NOTHING to do with the president or the economy this has to do with the relationship between the police and our people…once that man put on the badge he attested to be BETTER than the average. He pledged to used superior judgment in EVERY situation. In my opinion the videos show a rookie making a very callous mistake. BUT a mistake nonetheless it almost looked deliberate and i think a thorough investigation should be held immediately but cops tend to be given leniency and the dirty ones tend to slip into obscurity so i understand that people are worried that this will go to “trial” and he’ll come out as a “rookie cop that made a rookie mistake” 3 months suspension with pay and life returns to normal. I truly hope (like “Stormyweathers25″ said ) that Justice is served
