What’s problematic about this is that mostly everyone’s giving this “What’s good for the goose…” argument. President Obama has ran his entire campaign on Change and taking the high road. People it was a dinner with Comedian intertainmen?! Comedians say what they feel is funny and ENTERTAINING. So what if Wanda supposedly “cross the line” Comedians do it ALL the time!

WOW! Just another reason why Wanda Sykes is one of my favorite comedians. She spoke the truth.

Sure Wanda Sykes is funny – but to me most of her “jokes” lacked a critical ingredient for a political event: Tact.

Some things that are funny to joke about. But I find it difficult to find humor in:

- 9/11 Hijakers that killed thousands of Americans
- “Breaking” other entertainers using waterboarding
- Other entertainers substance abuse problems (considering Wanda is herself a recovering alcoholic)

Maybe its me – but I just cannot see anything funny about any of those topics. I have never had a substance abuse problem, but I have watched “New Jack City” enough times to know that its not all that fun to have a habit, or trying to beat it.

Now if Wanda (or the President) had the guts to actually attack the substance of the arguements against the President’s policy decisions…well, I might have laughed at that. But that takes guts. Bill Cosby, Martin or Jamie could have pulled something like that off: ROTF LOL humor – with class. But its far easier to dip into the toilet, and make a personal attack or two instead.
