I actually was looking forward to this movie coming out on video (I rarely do the theater). It looks like it might be hilarious. As for the removal of the black actors, it is curious that the movie is about four couple and only shows three couples.

I worked many years for a European (UK owned and operated) company and found a myriad of attitudes about race – some positive and some not so much. As African Americans, we need accept reality, life is not fair for us in this country and in most others. So let’s focus on elevating each other by educating ourselves and for those of you that are parents, educating your children.

This is just another (albeit slight) example of how hypocritical the American media is. oh and i almost forgot…they got a legal racist government group out there called the BNP (British National Party) http://bnp.org.uk/ where they are openly racist to every non white british folks…Justy think of the KKK in suites and ties and the black folks over there are scared to fight or protest against this group cuz of the repercussions…they allow that type of govt to control who they are and put fear inside of em…the british are 10 yrs behind when it comes to civil rights. The BNP is a highly controversial organisation which is not accepted by many British people. If anyone can be bothered to, you can see a debate with the leader of the BNP Nick Griffin, on the main political programme on the BBC, Newsnight. It is on youtube. it pretty much shows what the majority of people think about that party.

how is UK more racist than America? did you not know that UK abolished slavery before America? did you not know that it was UK’s influence that made Abraham Lincoln sign the act that freed slaves… duh!!!!

UK racism is on the same level or even more than the US one… It’s just more covert in some areas and overt in other areas… If you don’y believe it, try and watch TV or any shows or try and find any businesses in UK and count the number of black people and minorities you can find… In america you have black politicians, police officers, lawyers, judges, film stars, companies, etc. Good luck trying to find that in the UK… If you watch UK TV you wouldn’t even know black people who are educated or successful exist…

I know this for a fact THAT ALL OF EUROPE LOVES BLACK PEOPLE!!!! I don’t care what anybody says. I lived in Germany for 4 years and every where I went there was a smiling face when they look at an American you can get that in no America!! Only if you’re famous!!!!Yes America has more Black business or actors Athletes and all ETC but look how f**k institutionalized this f**king Country is? @ruff75: ei i feel u bruh…europeans love black americans…I felt stress free out here too and they love the fact that im also black americans…but when it comes to black british on another black british they treat each other just as bad. The blacks are segregated from each other..they could be like oh i dont f**k with dude cuz he nigerian or i dont f**k with dude cuz he jamaican…plus the white europeans dont respect the black europeans either…if they get any sistas modeling they go to the light skinned or mixed raced sistas…Id say the mentality is a lil similar to ours but in their part..no one seems to try act on it and they just sit down there and accept it

as long as we continue to hate ourselves, we should never expect to be respected or loved by any other culture. i have been on the front line against black on black rascism for 25 years now; and have noticed steady growth within black communities all across the globe. the willie lynch syndrome lives on, until darkness is wiped of the face of this earth.

I’m black and was born in the UK and racism is alive and kicking. There are certain places that i would not live because there are no black people and i know id experience blatant racism. The big cities are usually more multicultural and generally black people feel comfortable living there. I think our experiences of racism are very similar to the US. We are in a minority here and i don’t feel we are very united at times. There are no black role models for our kids so it is up to us to teach our children that they can be successful. Black actors on TV are never portrayed in a realistic or positive light unlike in US where there are far more black people and much more is dedicated to providing positive images for young black Children. In my experience of living in a city i don’t feel UK is more racist than USA i think it just depends on where you live in both countries.
