« Previous 1 2Iam getting so tired of people with all there bad mouthing Black Planet for whatever reason they think about Black Planet. This site has been good to me and I have gained a lot of friends and business contacts and learned a lot since I have been here. So for the people who don’t know what BP is all about get off the site and go some were else stop looking for some one or somebody to cater to your every need life does not work like that.
how many things are truly black owned? look what one brave black family is doing
eefortomorrow.com
Whether it was the first or the second, this dookie green bubblelicious soap sudsy Palmolive plastered ensemble on the home page is horrible!! You mean to tell me that a damn dish soap is the only sponsors this site could muster. Your affilitions with “NewsOne” and “HelloBeautiful” are bringing your stock down. “Elev8″ and the “UrbanDaily” are the only decent affiliates, the rest are just irresponsible blogging with no purpoe other than to spread rumours and be devisive.
WRONG!!!!! AsianAvenue was the first! THEN Blackplanet, which Migente followed. With the same crew of mostly Asians and whites. I have to admit I agreed with most of y’all as Bp is sorriest and sometimest group of web working people I’ve ever expereince. When BP first came out, they was the bomb and we did more as a people with BP than we did with civil rights and meet and greets everywhere! In the last 7 years it BP act like they got bought out by white people and been sorryier ever since. Bible says, “Speak truth to power” and they’ve been deleting my pages and backgrounds ever since. Keep those comments up, please!
This was the 1st…before MiGEnte and Asian Avenue and before MYSPACE and FAceBook…The problem has been in the world and with our race…That we are owed something…I was born to try to get somewhere,,,a degree doesnt mean Nada today…EXPIERENCE…if you want a chance…Work up the later…NoOne is owed Anything…even those that work hard…It’s Life World….Time 2 Grow up!
And Black People! Can we finally stop being Haters…We sound like Talk Soup or a VH1 Show…Lets try something new! Like building one another up and our neighbor..!
I got no love for this hypocritical ass website. Even the people who work for them have hatred in them. I can’t even get a simple photo accepted on my page without some hateful ass anonymous uppitidy ass negro “rejecting” it for no reason. Many others have expressed this problem as well. Most of the artciles featured on this are selacious and stupid gossip that don’t do anything to uplift or unite our people.
I sold a lotta crack and social network with junkies, does that count. Kidding I wouldnt work for you uppity N Words no way, lol.
Be easy on Bobby now. These stressful economic times got a brotha salivating at the mere site of any “help wanted” sign. This ad’s been up for over a week and who knows if they’ve already filled the posistion. Hell, I tried. I drove 8 hrs to New York from Buffalo but was so damn high I forgot my resume and portfolio. I know damn well I’m qualified. I haven’t seen any significant changes on this site so I’m pretty sure the vacancy still exists. Whoever gets the 2 posistions have a lot of work to do.
Now Bobby, should “NOT I repeat NOT” get the job because he can’t even read the print smh. He is a joke he put everything but his #sos number down. haha Bobby in this day and time there are a lot of qualified people out there learn to read the job description through then respond.
the requirements is madness. there basically saying that for you to get the job, you basically have to at one point in your life work on another social network, how many social networks are there? like 5 or so. so you basically had to transfer from one social network site to another. lol
i love jobs that ask for experience, like where are you suppose to get that from, when everyone ask for it..lol
I UNDA STAND ! USED DA WORK FOUR MYYYYYSPACE N CALIFORNIA
What in the hell. Why Black America? Why? Black Planet is trying to give two people the chance at a job and some of you who cant get it are what? Talking s**t? C’mon man. Why cant we just be happy that there are some jobs open now, damn. Oh and to the cracker with all that ‘n****r’ this and that, that word is seriously played out. I mean really, can you offend us with a word we use all the time? smh. In the words of Huey Freeman , ” We could all be reading a book right now. “
