Black people always have a complaint, whether you want to blame it on polices or the messiah complex! We as a people can not come together and support our own color, he did not mess up the economy so stop the uncle tom dance black people! If you do or you don’t like Obama, it’s your business, i don’t like some people, do i have to say it No! They know i do why should i repeat for the world to know,it will make no difference! What do the Obama supporters feel about:

1) Obama boycotting the World Conference Against Racism, Durban II because it addressed Israel’s occupation and oppression of the Palestinian People and their land and Reparations to Blacks for the Transatlantic Slave Trade. How many of you even know about Durban II?

2) Obama supporting the illegal wiretapping of American citizens.

3) Obama supporting Extraordinary Rendition, which is basically kidnapping People, taking them to other countries to be tortured, doing the U.S.’s dirty work. How many of you knew what Extraordinary Rendition was before I just explained it?

4) Obama catering to Israel’s interests. After Israel assaulted Gaza and killed over 1200 Palestinian civilians mostly women and children, Obama saying Israel has the right to protect itself. Obama Administration saying it will veto the Goldstone Report which called for investigating Israel for commtting war crimes during the assault.

(Obama supporters always use the excuse that Obama is not the President of Blacks but the President of the U.S. Well he seems to be everyone’s president but ours. He constantly speaks to Jewish insterests groups about their concerns and met with the NAACP once and they don’t even represent our insterests. The only time he addresses Blacks is when he is dissing us for being bad fathers and having corrupt leadership. Basically saying all of our issues are our own fault. Letting the government(WHITE POWER) off the hook for its major and deliberate role in our dysfunction which is merely symptoms of what you will see among People that have been colonized. Look at the Native Americans, Latinos, and other Peoples of color in this country. We all suffer the same disease and its called Colonialism.)

5) Obama authorizing more Drone attacks, killing civilians in Afgan. and Pakistan, in 9 months then Bush did in 3 years.

6) Obama not holding the Bush Administration accountable for its war crimes of torture. Instead he says, lets look forward and not backwards. Letting them off the hook.

7) Obama not supporting the Black men who ran for Governor and Mayor of New York state and New York City. Telling the Black Man, David Paterson, running for Governor to step down. And supporting the white billionair Mayor Bloomberg, who Blacks and Latinos were trying their best to get out of office. The Black Man, Bill Thompson, could have won if he had support form the White House.
But Obama is about the Bull$hit a$$ post racial America crap. He does not want to appear to be “BLACK”. HE AIN’T DOWN WITH US YA’LL!!!

I can go on but lets deal with those points first.

Should we blame obama for the fact that apathy in the 09 Elections in states such as VA, NJ, NY helped the republicans gain the political momentum they so desperately needed?

Everyone has so much nonsense to talk about Obama’s progress. What have you done lately to help your communities? And I am tired of hearing that the majority of us voted for him b/c he was black? There have been other blacks that have run for President. Alan Keyes, black, Jessie Jackson, black, Shirley Chisolm, black, Al Sharpton, black???? None of them won and most blacks probably didn’t vote for them anyway. It is insulting to hear other black ppl suggest that blacks voted for him simply b/c he was black???? And I wouldn’t have voted for Alan Keyes b/c his political ideology is too closely aligned with a conservative rhetoric about family values, “trickle down economics, etc. He and Michael Steele are poster boys for baffonery. Thanks, but no thanks.

Obama is one person and he is the leader of a country whose foundation was formed on the basis of the enslavement of others. Do you seriously and honestly think that the white power structure in this company is going to relinquish “power” b/c a black man is president??? Wake UP ppl. This is America!!! We should not place our destinies in the hands of any person or the government. Remember we’re still waiting for our 40 acres and a mule?

The protesters are several years late. Where were you at when the real culprit, G.W. Bush was in office running the country into the hell it’s in now??? Now everyone, black, white, or other want to point the finger towards Obama and expect that he has ALL the answers to our problems. The problems in this country WILL NOT be solved by Obama. Remember charity begins at home. We can’t blame Obama, white ppl, or anyone else for our our priorities being wrong.

We should be protesting the fact that right here in America there’s another war going on that involves our young black youth being murdered on the streets, our public schools are deplorable, and the derogatory messages that are being “glorified” in the music helping to create communities that are “under seige”. And the fact that when Obama wanted to go and speak to school children about the importance of staying in school, people were “outraged”???? I didn’t hear anything from the protesters then?

This is so much deeper then obama saving black people idk who was ignorant enough to believe that but obama hasn’t done anything so far that help the united states in the long run. That man made sooooo many outlandish promises during his campaign of which none he has kept. So obviously our pres. has some type of personality disorder “new kind of politics” ha yea right. I can totally understand where these people are coming from it’s not just about what he’s done for the black community but its about how he’s basically a rich white man’s puppet(which he and most of our other pres. were). & how do yal know what these people have done or what they have been involved in, yal haven’t researched this organization so you cant say that they did or didn’t protest against bush. All in all though i hope he starts switching stuff up in the way he’s conducting his presidency, because so far it sucks, and it would be awful for obama to be the first black president who’s responsible for contributing to the fall and demise of the u.s.

If you research Obama’s campaign speeches and search for his exact words that promised to bring change to the lives of African Americans you’ll find that he promised us nothing, not a darn thang.
