I thought racism was something of a myth north of the Mason/Dixon? This is just indicative of a national problem. If racism was eradicated, so would the need for things like “paid for housing”. If racism in this country were extinct, black children would receive a free and appropriate education on par with the one received by children who attend predominantly white public schools, then they would not only speak “proper” english (which isn’t spoken by any white Americans, either), but do it BETTER than their white counterparts, because the schools they attend would be properly staffed, funded and supplied with instructors who are motivated to teach, thereby inspiring children to learn.
