This article had to be written by someone who is obviously not well versed in politics. The Obama Administration will prove you to be incorrect on your points when his 1st term is over and the implemented positive changes are truly realized… Give him some time we gave ineptness 8 years…

Normally, I don’t voice my opinion on the things that jounralist such as Lisa Warren write because it’s obvious what their intentions are. Bush was the worst thing that happened to the White House since 1776, and in turn, people like Ms. Warren and Rush Limbaugh are hoping for the fall of Barack Obama. Obama’s Administration is not failing as far as I see. The economy is returning and at the rate that Obama spoke of before he was elected. He stated it was not going to be easy and on the road to recovery there was going to have to be some changes. The racisim in their eyes is so bliniding that they they can’t see that if Obama does fail, then so does America and it’s people. So here’s the question; Why wish that so much? The answer is because that would be reason to never vote for another black candidate. They’d love to see that more then the country actually coming together and winning as a whole. Then there is no news to be written. But here is what saves face, this is the first black president who is trying to fix what 44 others have mishandled with their own self righteousness and bigotry. How can a country fight for freedom then enslave others inside and outside of it’s own boundaries. Ms. Warren’s piece is so well written with (as older people say) “$5″ words that it almost makes you think that Obama is failing.
And oh, by the way, not everyone thinks that Tiger’s wife is attractive. She’s just an average looking white girl with blonde hair…..that is not the norm for beauty anymore if you didn’t get the memo. Woman of natural ethnic color with curves, hips, and a bit of attitude is what the world recognizes as beautiful now. If you don’t believe it, look at the TV. Tyra has been embracing her curvier side, Oprah (Big Oprah) has always been more attractive when she was thicker, Monique is handling the late night, Mary J is the best thing in music right now (everything she touches is an athem), and must we go on? Tiger’s major mistake is that he didn’t embrace his ethnic side. And now, just like you guys did with OJ, when he’s falling from grace, you don’t want him. But we (as black people) are use to being cast out and we will continue to embrace Tiger because he is black and will be black when he comes back and rebound to take over the golf world again. It’s the making of a major studio hit movie. Since he didn’t remember his roots before I hope he comes back to get some and topple the golf world with all the ease that he did before, but this time, as a black person.

The problem with this article is that none of these men told you they were your role models. They were set up by media units to represent a product. Now seeing as how we dont have anybody thats in a position or leadership role to take on such a heavy responsiblity is something else. The larger problem is that we have gone so far away from who we really are that we grab hold to the next new thing struggling to hold on to an identity of self. But one day our role model has to be “Reality”. Not the one the media told you. But the one history did. Everyday you walk around knowing the evidence of who you are. In how you interact with people. And how the world interacts with you. And at some point we have to acknowledge the harsh truths that we collect to find out our own answers. There is not one person that represents an entire race for us just like there isnt one for any other race. The point of these exercises is to lead you into a certain direction since you dont know yourselves that well. Its like wind swaying the ocean. Subtle but effective. Its up to you to know who you are. Not tv. Or the BET awards. or Charles Barkley. But your own soul tells you who you are by identifying who you are not. That in itself proves you with the mental stillness to see everything that is in front of you. And the balance of having self worth and valueing your soul for what it is. One must keep this in mind when reading any type of literature, commentary, or historical record. First of all who is the author, what is their ethnic background and from where did he or she get their information? I am careful to ask myself these questions with anything I read. Some people are just gramatically talented and can write anything and make it appear to be true. However, there are flaws in the evaluation of the gentlemen mentioned in this story. Look at the writers background, apply the above questioning. Then read her story again. This is all I have to say. You see it is well and fine to codify a person of colors face on America’s greatest rice, or have a person of color’s image on one of the finest pancake syrup bottles, or a person of color’s image on a well known cleaning agent used by janitors and in homes to clean. However, when persons of color are promoted to positions of public figure and character, then oh…. lets destroy this, they cant be suited for the job, lets pick and pick and pick and see what makes them tick. Stupid article. While I may agree on Mr. Woods, President Obama has not disappointed me. Also, unlike some people, including the writer of this article, I’m not counting the days until he does. Washington is what it is. POLITRICKS. This health care bill WHEN it passes will HELP MILLIONS of poor and middle-income people who currently don’t have any semblance of real coverage. CHANGE happens slowly, in Washington. However, this is the FIRST step and once taken I feel it will only be improved upon over the months and years. There’s no turning back…which is always good. On other issues, like saving the country from a DEPRESSION, the Ledbetter FAIR pay act for WOMEN, Credit Card accountability from companies, etc…President Obama has been a BREATH OF FRESH AIR! Even on GAY RIGHTS, something I care about, he’s made some very positive changes for the better. Of course, each particular INTERESTS group (gays, blacks, hispanics, women, military, banks, insurance companies, asians, etc..) will ALWAYS feel the President should do more for THEM. to be honest im not disappointed at either one. Obama is doing his best to fix a mess not only left by GW Bush but his father as well.
