Chris Brown Doesn’t Remember Beating Rihanna, Still Loves Her

LOS ANGELES – Chris Brown says he doesn’t remember savagely beating Rihanna and claims he still loves his former girlfriend.

In his first public interviews on the subject, the R&B singer told People magazine and CNN’s Larry King that his feelings haven’t changed for Rihanna since the February beating that left her bloody and bruised.

“I never fell out of love with her,” Brown told People. “That just wouldn’t go away.”

Brown told King in an interview scheduled to air on Wednesday night that he is still in shock about his actions. Brown’s mother, Joyce Hawkins, accompanied her son during both interviews.

“When I look at it now, it’s just like, wow, like, I can’t believe that that actually happened,” Brown told King.

Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault in June and last week was sentenced to five years of probation, a year of domestic violence counseling and six months of community labor. He will serve his sentence in his home state of Virginia.

A judge also ordered Brown, 20, and Rihanna, 21, to stay away from each other.

A police affidavit and probation report detail the beating, which included Brown hitting, biting and choking Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty. The attack occurred in a car after the couple attended a pre-Grammy Awards party.

Brown’s interview with People will be published in an issue released on Friday. He told the magazine he called his mother, who was a domestic violence victim, the night of the attack.

“I was distraught. I went to my mom on the same night and told (her) what happened and broke down.”

Brown released a video statement last month in which he apologized to fans and said he had repeatedly apologized to Rihanna for the attack.

    A judge also ordered Brown, 20, and Rihanna, 21, to stay away from each other.

    So if they happen to break that order from the judge I wonder what would happen. But this is pretty amusing.

    If he breaks the order the judge says that he will have to do time in prison , i forgot how long but thats why they put you on probation so you can be watched and tracked and if you break the rules you will do jail time.

    I seriously thought okay they both beat each other and friends have reported that they have gotten into physical fights before where she was the one who struck first and he was still wrong but she got makeup deals and he got in trouble because they both couldent keep there hands to themselves , but now hes saying he doesent remember it like he black out like it happen only ounce, to not make it seem that bad is bull. I would have respected him more if he just said hey i was wrong iam sorry i guess are relationship has been violent on both are parts and i dont no how it ended up so bad but it needed to end because it wasent a healthy realationship and i still love her but we just could not be together with the hitting back and forth something like that , that interview just made him look like a lie.

    I had finally given up my “F*ck Chris Brown” crusade, but now I’m back on it. LOL. I’m just glad he got the sentence he got. What if they had given him a slap on the wrist and he came back with this, “I don’t remember” bullsh*t!!! I’m glad he got 5 years of whatever it is he has to do. I wish they could go back and say,”You’re on probation until you can remember.” Not remembering is NOT taking responsibility, and I can’t believe his mom let him sit there and say some stupid sh*t like that. F*CK CHRIS BROWN!

    Chris don’t let that girl ruin you anymore than she already has. Physical abuse from either side is not right, even though I’m told a lot of couples do that. Think about all that you have gone through since that night; is she REALLY worth all of this? Smh…that girl got you whupped in the worst way…gues that’s what “love” does to folks.

    Chris Brown Needs to just Fess Up, Man Up and theN SHUT UP! By saying he does not remember he is still not taking responsibility for what he did. My friends and I would never support this guy again. My 17year old says he is a punk for putting his hands on a female. He is doing more damage saying things like he does not remember and blaming his childhood.

    MAN UP CHRIS BECAUSE UNTIL THEN THIS WILL NEVER BE BEHIND YOU!

    First I have to address that Chris has a lot of teeth!! My brother in law also named Chris is 37 and still thinks and will hit a woman. He messed up and put his hand on me Saturday.

    I have to admit that I was in denial too about Chris’ (the brother in law) abusive nature but after Aug. 29th, I KNOW this clown is abusive and a COWARD. I just pray that Chris Brown gets help and takes this seriously so that he won’t look up and be like my brother in law, a 37 year who will hit women with his children present.

    The saddest part is my sister is a LICENSED social worker and “CERTIFIED” christian counselor!!!! Don’t even realize that she needs to be counseled and need to get away from him UNTIL he gets the help he needs. I am praying for safety because I feel that something is going to happen soon that will cause him and my sister to open their eyes and SEE this thing for what is it is.

    Stop hiding behind the bible and talking about “covenant.” God has not called any woman to be suppressed, oppressed, depressed and subjected to the abusive and dogma of a male for the sake of being able to say “I am Married.” Somebody be get a clue.

    He said he blacked out. To me, that means he was so enraged he had no control. That is very scary. He clearly has deep issues he needs to deal with,if not he WILL do it again.

    I wish we could move on from talking about this woman beater. He got away easy by not doing jail time. He could have gotten a great lesson in anger management behind bars. Let that punk black out and try to choke up a man and see what happens.
