With the way people are so easily swayed by empty speeches (i.e. this last election) independents are not going to be taking over too soon. Especially since dems are currently working to silence all opposition… And don’t believe this DEMS aren’t for big business stuff people… who just got 800 billion in a stimulus package?! GEN. POWELL is RIGHT!!! although i am an independant / democrat, what he is trying to say to the REPUBS is ITS THE ISSUE OF TODAY STUPID!!!
he is part of a new wave of future repubs who will come down the pike and start truly listening to the constituates again and not big businesses anymore! other wise until they dump Limbaugh and his ilk, the repubs will take about 25 years to recover. but the dems are doing damage to themselves too by moving too slow or ignoring the important issues of the people as well.
