@ LJSPACEMAN, why were they guilty because they were black and accused of committing a murder? I thought you were innocent until proven guilty by a court of law? Also, it turns out that they were acquitted. I’m sure they probably weren’t “angels”, but people don’t pay their taxes to have the police go around beating up people regardless of what they may have done. This doesn’t surprise me at all.

If anyone can find me an article that says the suspects aren’t the murders , then I’ll admit I was wrong for what I wrote.

But the fact their isn’t any mention about the suspects being innocent says their guilty.Like they say karma a bi*** when it comes back around.Everything seems like evil white men beat up innocent black men , why can’t they’ve just been beaten up because their murders and none of the cops wanted to take a chance.

Yeah it sounds messed up , but I’d rather them get beaten than shot dead so if they are innocent/framed/ or whatever else at least they can state their story in court.

When i first saw the video(the original when it happened)I thought it was gang fight. Those cops obviously used excessive force. I don’t care what race or what those guys were accused of doing. That was totally unnecessary.

@ LJSPACEMAN, that’s cool and I can accept that. Don’t get me wrong, I have much respect for the police and law enforcement in general. I myself was a former civilian employee of the Chicago Police Dept and I have several relatives and friends that are either cops or sheriff’s deputies. However, I can not and will not tolerate police misconduct and police brutality in any form. The Police are supposed to serve and protect, not beat up and harass. Sometimes I feel that the cops are nothing but a street gang with the law on their side.

Well, if I have to choose between cops and thugs, I have to choose COPS. At least they work.

The police has no respect or fear of us, and until we do something to earn their fear or respect, the beatings will continue.

Ramsey, the same guy who said that the 3 cops charged with Robbing drug dealers and selling drugs are “history”? Yeah, he’s probably in on all the crimes his “policemen” do. When it comes to people wearing a badge, ARM YOURSELVES and SHOOT FIRST. Because they can’t be trusted. Its YOU against THEM. I have no respect for cops.

I think hitting the child with a car was more than enough payback for the crime he allegedly committed. We do not even know it what was reported is true. Police will leak what they want to the press and because ‘we the people” continue to give away our rights, just accept it as the truth. That is until it happens to you or someone you know personally. The sad fact is the way Black People/African Americans are treated by the many of those who we PAY to protect and serve is despicable, but is it not new. It is one of the primary reasons when police try to get information from the same community that it is silent. Many feel police cannot be trusted. What I find remarkable is someone tried to penalize the person and the station for showing the tape. Really! The sad truth is, this happens so often and police are rarely if ever charged with anything. But what can happen and often does is the city is sued and these types of images almost guarantee a ruling in favor of the plaintiff. Kudos, to the media outlet that had the courage to air the tape and yes we will let our voices of disapproval be heard and we will place our petitions before the very people who have condoned and allowed this type of behavior. But more importantly, we need to hit the city, state and participants in the pockets. If the community starts to sue every time one of these nuts behaves in a way unbecoming to an officer, the powers that be will have to make corrections to the system. Otherwise, it will become entropic began to feed on itself into non-existence. I do not think all police are bad. My brother is a police officer and he is a good guy. I have had good encounters with police as well as very bad ones. I will not allow the way some nuts’ behavior dictate how I view the world or people. As a black woman who was five or six when Malcolm X and Dr. King were killed, I have seen this country allow some foul stuff to take place with the ones doing it calling themselves patriots. But through it all, people of the same culture have stepped away from the mess and said you do not speak for me. Hey police officers involved, you do not speak for the rest of the police. What I also like to see is police taking a stance against something so blatant. The blue code should only be evoked in honorable situations. The duty or oath every officer takes should be to the citizens, the tax payer who is paying the salary.
