Washington Post associate editor and columnist Eugene Robinson has won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary, it was announced today by the Pulitzer Prize Board. One of the world’s most prestigious journalism awards, the coveted prize was awarded to Robinson for his commentary that chronicled, analyzed and anticipated Barack Obama’s presidential election.

“From Gene’s early January column from Iowa ‘No Longer Unimaginable’ when he first believed that a black man might be elected president, to his Nov. 6 column, ‘Morning in America’ when he told us how Obama’s election felt to a man who grew up in segregated South Carolina, Gene chronicled last year’s amazing election with intelligence, wit, humor and sensitivity,” said Fred Hiatt, Editorial Page Editor. “We congratulate Gene and are honored that the Pulitzer Prize Board has recognized his incredible work as a columnist.”

Robinson is syndicated by The Washington Post Writers Group and his twice-weekly column appears in nearly 140 newspapers across the country.

This is wonderful and well deserved. I watch this cat on Countdown with Kieth Oberman. He speaks true wisdom from years of experience and from his view as a black man. His parents are still here in South Kak. I know he got lots of haters now!! It comes with success *wink*

Well deserved, my behind. Eugene Robinson is one of the personalities who joined the choir of haters against Hillary Clinton. Mr. Robinson was just another set of lips on Obama’s behind. MSNBC and CNN are two sexist networks. I am ultra-liberal and I’d rather watch The O’Reilly factor than a bunch of women hating butt kissers. They make me sick to my stomach. Had it not been for the media, Hillary Clinton would be our president. Obama used Hillary’s platform and the mealy mouth media, Chris Matthews, Keith Olberman, Jack Cafferty, Rollin Martin and the rest of those emotionally attached, sexist haters handed Obama the election. I do not hate Eugene Robinson, but I do not find him to be a credible source in the media. Sure he can predict an election. When you’ve got Oprah Winfrey on your team and a choir of sexist haters controlling the media of course you will win an election. Obama hung on Hillary Clinton’s coat-tail and swung into the White House with the sexist woman hating media as wind on his back.

MSNBC and CNN just proved, during this eleciton, that sexism is more tolerated in our society than racism. Anyone running for president must get control of the media, which is what Obama successfully did. Eugene Robinson is so far up Obama’s ass that I can’t tell where one begins and the other ends.
