To Rbchick09, the name on the street was ironically named Jackson street way before the Jacksons ever moved there. The address was 2300 Jackson street. That was not a dedication, nor was it a racial thing. That street has always been there, and it will remain there. RIP Michael Jackson

My prayers go out to MJ’s family and his children to give them strength to get through their overwhelming,sudden loss. I grew up listening to Michael and The Jackson 5 and 1 of my all time fav MJ songs was “Who’s Loving You” , Michael really saanngg on that beautiful ballad, I can listen to it now and it really brings tears to my eyes, he had so many amazing songs, albums,cds and videos. He was the #1 King of Pop in the world, the dancing machine with the smoothest dance moves, top entertainer, had millions and millions of fans and left an amazing gift of music for everyone to hear. R.I.P. to MJ.

Micheal was always in the ipod i have everything too. who could 4get the J5 cartoons or the many shows that he appeared on mike put in work. and as a kid in the 70s the Jacksons to me were everything. its sad that mike left the way he did, but of course he will always be here.just think hes home again with a lot great folks who have left us

think bout playing his game i think on Sega trying to moon walkmy way to the next level. Man those bring back some days dont it. or looking at him on thriller for the first time and in school next day trying to do his moves. I think i understand why kids of today are the way they are always seem to be missing something.Now i know what it is the youth of being there when Micheal did his first moonwalk or when his movie came out or when he had DO you remember the time song. The artist today try to imitate him but not like him. growning up and having sleep overs and watching the video and dancing like it around. Those were the days that kids to day miss out on.. Im 28 but i say bein 80s baby Micheal was a big part of it.. Hmm I will always feel like somebodys watching me…

Are there seriously now real street names of Jackson and Jackson family, or is it just a little memorabilia for show?? If it is now a real street, how come they never made some for any of the other ”celebs” who past away?? Like Ed Mcmahon, Farrah Fawcett, or Billy Mays?? Or dare I say, are they just only creating street names for BLACK people that have passed away, and not white??
– I think it’s sad that he’s passed, but that was just my thought.

I were born on June 25… my allergies were messing up so i took something for it and went too sleep. i woke up to about 40 text messages saying that Michael Jackson died…i suffer from panic attacks…and with that news, one hit me…hard! I still can’t and don’t want too accept the news. People dont understand what makes someone miss and care so much for a person that they never met, only seen. Here’s your answer: When you follow someone from as far as you can remember..seeing them at their best and worst, the ups and downs as well as the highs and lows, that person becomes a part of your life, your heart. And that’s the situation here today. I have watched Micheal (embraced him) at 8 years old…17 years of being in awe of a Magnificent talent. Songs that made you dance and shout..and songs that made you hug someone and cry….too me, ..it was the same feeling i had when i lost one of my brothers. So Michael do me a favor, when you get their…tell my loved ones I said hi…and I will see yall again someday, I love you Mike, and thank you for giving us everything that you could give us!

I am still in shock….it’s not real awaiting for someone to tell that Michael Jackson is on some Island recovering from something…..I do recall going to see him in concert my very 1st concert I was 13 yrs young Michael was a few yrs older but i remember that so well I was the only child of 5 to go see him in person…..when I hear his music I’m still saying to myself that its only for a moment….The song Heaven can wait………I wished it would have I don’t know how to feel…Empathy goes to the family……There is no other…I have 3 albums and I have had them since I was a young teen they will go to my grave with me…..MJ you will be missed rest in peace……When I see you in Heaven can you give a sista private lesson of the MOONWALK still can’t do it…….But I do swing out to your music……

my son was born in 1989 when he was 3 we bought him the red jacket, the lil loaf shoes , the glitter socks and yes even the glove , he would stay in front of the t.v. and practice and practice the MOON WALK..and any other move that Michael had on the video… I am deeple saddened . seems like my days havent been the same ..
