President Obama was born in Hawaii if I remember correctly. 2nd, If one or both of your parents are an American citizen. While the president’s father is not a US native, President Obama’s mother is. The third way is to be born on a United States Military base. Like many children born to the military, they can be born in Japan, Italy, anywhere and have duel citizenship until 18 years of age. The presidency and the next few who are in line to become president in case of complications, such as death, illness, or other reasons the president can not do their job are the only persons required to be American Citizens. I am a Sgt in the Air Force can say that a lot of white military members are upset that there is a black President with that said most will and do still do their jobs without question. The fact that these soldiers are refusing to go to war is no question against everything that all branches stand for. i know being black, that is i had made the same complaints id be locked up, gotten busted down, etc… Im proud to represent our U.S. the way i do and i hope that all the readers of these blogs will conitue to support us.

As a disabled veteran of 14 years of service, and have served two combat tours (Central America ’84 and Desert Shield/Storm ’90-’91), I feel that this is an outrage. Did anyone question President Obama’s credentials when he was a Senator? No. This is validation of his birth and citizenship of this country. Now that he is President of the United States, there are still those “DL” Klansmen that are as a last resort attempting this ridiculous stunt.
What these 170+ individuals are doing is called “Treason” (modern day Benedict Arnold’s) and they deserve to be treated the same as any known enemy of this country, be they terrorist or spy. I’ve served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 8 years. I went to Iraq twice. I have a Combat Action Ribbon x2. And I have an Operation Iraqi Freedom Medal x2. Not one deployment, did I even think about desertion. To desert my uniform, my Marine Corps, My Country was NEVER an option. For someone in the military to say, “I didn’t sign up to go to war,” is desertion in its own right. When you put your feet in those yellow footprints, rasied your right, and swore before God to defend your country against all enemies be it foreign or domestic. You signed up to go to war. There’s no fine print in that statement. And an officer in the U.S. Military to deny his Commander in Chief’s orders is also desertion. Black Soldiers, Sailors, or Marines never denied going to war for this country when George W. was in office. And I’m sure at least 95% of these “Soldiers” are white. All of these men and/or women should be punished and shown no lenience….
