im so tired of gays wantin straight peoples rights. its literally drivin me mad. when will gays learn ‘if you want straight rights, just become straight’. s**t, its not rocket science people. the government has no right to legalize gay marriage because there is a separation of church and state and marriage is a religious issue, not a political one. it would be no different than sendin muslims to prison for life for refusin to convert to christianity. bein gay is far more dangerous to society than smokin weed, but thats still illegal. why is bein gay dangerous? because they will stop at nothin to try and take over our country. poisonin peoples minds to think gay is ok is step 1 of tryin to sway straight people into becomin one of them. don believe me? why do you think people that were formerly straight keep comin out of the closet? you dont actually believe they were gay all along and were hidin it all this time do you? no, their minds have been brainwashed into bein gay. gays are the new nazis. print that you stupid website! would make a much more important headline than this other s**t ive been seein on here as of late.

Because everybody knows how evil they are w/ all their intelligence,artistic, and creative abilities.They really damage society w/ their quest for equal rights alongside their quest to dominate the world w/ their sense of fashion.
Let alone the fact that marriage is a man-made institution that is defined and shaped by the culture in which it exists.
We need not pay attention to the fact that traditional marriage is being arduously disrespected by the traditional’ people who are in them.
Just make sure no else can come in and change the definition of what it is to us…even though that definition has no bearing on the current reality of rampant infidelity and abuse.
See…it’s ok to marry someone under false pretenses so you can get the full benefit of society.Just don’t get caught.
It’s ok to wear their clothes w/ your pants hanging 90degrees below your waste[prison style]while you blast homophobic rap lyrics[written by closet cases on the dl]on your IPOD.
It’s ok for children to kill themselves over being teased for showing signs of gentle ways and intelligence beyond their years, and men to maim and kill one another,and women to scratch each others eyes out … so long as it’s not the result of a lovers quarrel.It’s ok to capitalize off of the contributions to society they bring so long as we don’t give them due credit.And oh yeah,let us not forget the pleasures that they bring–so long as they are enjoyed in secret.But marriage?Hell No!
That’s all we need is to be shown how it’s supposed to be done by the likes of them.I feel ya man. F*ck ‘em on the side…but for GOD’S SAKE PLEASE DON’T MARRY ‘EM!

i’m confused don’t gay people have the equivalent of marriage already?(civil unions)

point blank marriage is a union between a MAN AND WOMAN. seriously, i think these votes on “gay marriage” are just strategic moves toward assimilating homosexuality into society and disrupting our moral compass.(notice how many reality shows have that “gay” cast member) now they are adopting and raising children, what’s next? where does it end?

in my eyes homosexuality is wrong so gay marriage isn’t even in the question.

I truly understand the ire for the civil rights struggles of black people being compared to the civil rights issues of gays[who,incidentally can be just as racist as we can be homophobic]…but make no mistake,THIS IS A CIVIL RIGHTS ISSUE.Those of you who don’t understand the meaning of the term ‘civil rights’ need to go back to grammar school.

Civil Right… Equality? Those words are being used to fool people. This is a moral issue. There is nothing civil about the decision to be gay and marry. A civil right protects people from something they have no control over… like a handicap or nationality. I can’t wake up and change my color or grow a limb, depending on how i feel that day.

How about this… What would happen if I choose to steal or kill? We adopted laws about stealing and killing from the bible and various other religious books, so why are we even trying to make right out of this. Didn’t we learn from Lot and his wife.

And this… What do I say to my kids when they see to people of the same sex holding hands and doing whatever? How do I explain that.

As a rule I could care less what other people do with their lives, but the fact that this issue is compared the the struggles of African American 400 plus years of overt oppression troubles me. There has been verbage over the fact that our people in California voted with faith and their and beliefs religion wise. A of course the beauty pagent issue. In short because this America, We have the right to agree and disagree over chosen lifestyles, and both sides/views should equally respected and we need to quit attempted to impose ourselves on each. I too believe in traditional marrige, but that doesn’t give me or anyone the right to tell some how to live their lives…and vice versa, and no should be calling ANY woman a b***h because of the position.

I Understand both ways but the way society is today is ridiculous. teenage marriage and the extreme rise of bi sexual and gay people now a days is appalling. all these younger people think its cool to say o im bi tee hee. thats bs and not right. Im highly against it. i hate to make this religious because i can totally see the point if 2 people love each other “Romantically” they should be allowed to be married, However, its a sin according to The Bible. I am christian and i think marriage should be between a woman and a man. Period!

To have been raised by a gay aunt I have no problems with gay marriage why should they not be entitled to legally being married! They dont exempt gays from taxes so why exempt them from loving who they love!
