Mother Charged In Slashing Of Her Infant

Police were called to the home on East 38th Street around 5 a.m. Sunday. There, they found a 5-month-old boy with a slash wound to his neck.

The boy’s 29-year-old mother, Tineka Johnson, was arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The boy was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition. Johnson was also taken to the hospital, where she was treated for a self-inflicted stab wound to the leg.

    Thats soooooooo fuked up…Children are innocent and have no way to protect themselves but through us. Even on the worst days when my son runs my nerves, no matter how angry i get at him, never would i ever take his life. As soon as he is smiling giving me hugs & kisses i get the best feeling in the world.

    omg people r so evil there r some many folks out here that want kids and can’t have them.. somebody would love 2 have that child or any child theres no good reason 2 harm a kid if they don’t want them let some1 who does have them

    Children are a gift from GOD, and are born or put into this world, they are precious and need to be treated that way. Pray that the mother gets the HELP SHE NEEDS.
