NAACP is an old and tired organization desperately trying to become relevant.

Well if it was not a NAACP what would you do in times of trouble?-this organization is a popular organization and for us black’s to put it down is just stupid-who else do u have fighting for your rights like they have done over the yrs. u got no one else to do so so stop downing our organization maybe it’s your fear not their’s.yes it’s and old organization which we all have benefited from before and even now-people trying to take us back in history and we sit here and down this organization,not acceptable,so be encouraged and etc. even if they are making headlines every week it’s about black people being treated wrongfully-they have helped guys get out of jail for something they did not do and what if they were not here then what would we do-they have marched with the best and got results for the wrong accused so u better think things thru before any more bad mouthing the only good representation we have to represent us for now so be glad and support this organization it is worth it.and for this person name -A- we are relevant have u not heard, and we are not going anywhere,-you disk yourself from us and and you RIP maybe you are a small black man with no morals because only people like u can think small, wanting anything but wasting our time & efforts on people like yourself with a small brain like yours get educated and then maybe u can talk what u know & shut up with what u don’t know.& by u here being a black male u should know better maybe u should join and get educated on this organization which maybe one day u may need there help.

Well what do we have here @ branecia… I can tell you not a “REAL” member of the NAACP because in your post you say “WE” and then you say “THEY” so u can break your fingers in a car door and fix that little problem u got with your condescending rhetoric, secondly I know a chapter president in the wack organization who say the only reason why they do it is because it was a “legacy position” and they dont have respect for any of the leadership, which is a pretty bold statement coming from someone who actually got a voice in their affairs. The NAACP can get hit by a missle and would be on the news for like a day maybe two and nobody would care cause they only fight for causes that they know they can win, other then that u don’t hear a “PEEP” out of them, so keep payin your “DUES”(if u doing that much) and supportin them and leave the actual concerned citizens alone while we brainstorm about making a difference

I live here in Daytona… sorry to say that yeah the young men were cuttin up… BAD. If you google/youtube the footage on the matter released from the police..well the police have nothing to apologize for. Iniatally they were keeping mum about it all but after so many people were complaining they released the footage and honestly they (the officers) weren’t in the wrong for how it was handled. Windows in the dorm being broken, chairs and trashcans being thrown around, the r.a. being jumped by a gang of dudes…. yeah bethune got to take one for the team this time.

the naacp motives are highly questionable at times. at times it seems like they do things with out actually getting facts. its to much bias in the organization. it needs better leadership because now its starting to make black people look like a bunch of whiners. they need to be smarter
