RIGHT! This is ridiculous. I read further in the story where the president of the association in the neighboorhood said that in order to change the wording of the deed, it would be a ‘circus’ it would be a ‘hassle’ because the deed itself was written ages ago during the 1940′s when this was accepted in Charlotte. Number one, why are you using a deed from 60 years ago?! Number two, If they whited out the date and the old addresses on the deed, then why couldnt they just have whited out the ‘caucasians only’ part of the text as well? Number three, why not just draw up an entirely NEW deed and just scratch that one if amending it would be too much ‘trouble’? SO WHAT? AIDS is threatening to wipe out the majority of our population in a FEW years. Prison is filled with blacks because the drug laws are so strict that a black guy getting caught with the same amount of drugs as a white guy can be considered possession with intent to sell,deliver,or distribute and can be locked away for LIFE! Most whites with drugs are considered users or have supporting families able to buy a $5,000 – $10,000 lawyer whom will complain this guy had no need to sell drugs but has a drug using problem and need a rehab then go on to start a business like the guy who started O Charley’s. But with such major problems going on our “spokesmen” find it imperative to discuss this? So what? F’k the white community. Every since MLK for some reason all our leaders has fought about is s’t like this. i agree with you new world order, the naacp has nothing better to do but look for white people who dont want minorities in their neighborhoods, it stil hasnt connected to the naacp that the way you get respect is through financial power.

But i understand what the naacp is doing, they are running out of money because no one is donating anything anymore so now they have to go after anythign racial so that they can sue, they are suing everyone these days and none of it helps black people on their fake organization

The NAACP is an organization that should be in Jurassic Park along with the rest of the dinosaurs. They have long since lost touch with the needs of the modern Black community & thus lost membership (i.e. MONEY!).
This constant running after people who history has plainly shown hate us was funny once upon a time, but is ludicrous in this age of skyrocketing teen pregnancies, drug abuse/addiction, Black-on-Black crime, & the systematic destruction of the Black family.

So whitey doesn’t want us in his hood. Fine. What or who says we can’t start our own businesses, schools, financial institutions, etc, etc? Why is it that we always have to run to massa with our hat in hand, beggin’?
Stop buying $50,000 SUVs (that are worth 35 as soon as you drive it off the lot), bling, video games, & all the other unecessary extraneous bull tihs that whitey uses today to keep us in the New Slavery? Why can’t we learn to invest in ourselves the way other minorities that come here do?
