WHAT? R U SERIOUS? Why are you using the race card. My friend, you’re not qualified to do the job by their standards. You should have got your game up.

How does he even know hes black? Hes blind (LOL) Hes unpopular because he raised tuition in all colleges in the state of NY and taxed frivolous things such as soda and vitamin water, and increased the fare on public transportation..PERHAPS my dear THAT is why you are unpopular

So tired of my black brothers and sisters who use the race card just because it suits their situation…I already know this guy sucks as a governor and Im not even from NYC. Someone should create a list of times and situations where it is acceptable to use the race card and when its not.

examples of Acceptable situations for using the race card: anytime a black person gets beaten or assaulted by cops and the beating was not necessary. When you dont get picked up for a promotion or a job and you are just as qualified as everyone else. When you see a disproportionate number of minorities compared to whites in certain areas of everyday life. i.e. T.v. fashion, Government.

examples of situations where you shouldent use the race card: Anytime you lose a job/ position and blame it on the man when you were too lazy to show up for work or not perform your job properly. Anytime you were beaten by police because you resisted arrest and popped off at the mouth. when you are a sore loser and just all around have a bad attitude in life. when you go to buy a house or car and your credit is wack. maybe you shouldent have went in debt trying to live beyond your means.

yall kill me with that bulls!@#t about the governor of new york state. first of all hes a BLACKMAN and though it may not mean much to you all, it amounts to a great many of us. hes one of TWO black governors out of fifty state here in america in 2009. he was the LT.governor until spitzer started acting like a dick head and leading with it.this brother is doing a great job.at NO point did he say the meadia that was ganging on him was due to race. what he said in so many words was “some meadia outlets engaged in coverage that exploits racial stereotypes” but some of yall out there that think with a half a brain beleive anything the meadia say because it is powerful.this man raised taxes on the wealthy,raised the welfare grant for the first time in 18 years,hes reforming the rockerfeller drug laws and reworking the penal laws. who yall think was behind the $200 back-to-school grants for low income families he could have done something else with those stimulus dollars how quickly we forget.nobody looks at ALL the good he has done, and yall ready to throw him overboard. and yes hes blind but if yall was blind yall could’nt support or run your own household without getting disibility or some type of goverment help,this man is run the most powerful state in america without the blessing of sight. thats why yall always be nothing but cheerleader!!take the pillow from your head and put a book in it! positive education always corrects era’s

I don’t know why he’s unpopular in NY. But, I do wonder if some people ever see the role race and racism plays in how individuals are received and perceived on the job. Again, I don’t know about this guy, but I do see an element of racism within the faction that opposes Obama. That people could bring guns into the vicinity of the President and some people justify says a lot. That some people accuse him of being a Muslim, not being a citizen, and a socialist trying to bring down America says a lot about these Americans…

Gov.paterson knew before he ran that when white people create a reason to be angry with blacks,he,being black irreguardless to the fact that he is disabled,is going to catch hell with the rest of us.he also knows they outwardly hate us again.he’s a fool if he thought that the racist of nyc even liked him before now.he’s just another black flunky,court jester,figure head and no more.he needs to man-up,and except that white racist are always waiting in the wings for an excuse to go into action.He was never popular,just foolish.

As a intelligent black man who lives in NYC, the Governor is 110% on the money. It’s exactly how I feel. The media, the ignorant people, and the racist whites blame everything that goes wrong in the city on the Governor. They don’t want to blame the dictator mayor, bloomberg for anything that goes wrong in the city. Governor Patterson might be blind but he’s not stupid. If you read the news, it’s clear that the media doesn’t want this man to run for re-election. It’s not his fault that NY had a huge budget deficit when he took over, but they blame him. People don’t like to hear the truth but it is what is. God bless Gov. Patterson and his family.

People must remember that while outright racist laws have banned and the KKK no longer marches the streets…white Americans do not see Blacks at the same level they see themselves, no matter how accomplished a non-white person is. You are not of them….plain and simple
People can talk all this folly about “race cards” and reverse discrimination…the point is white people look out for their own and do things in the best interest of themselves.

So many blacks who are in positions of influence are so quick to use racism in every situation but if it weren’t for white America a lot of them wouldn’t have the careers that they have.
