There was NEVER a confirmation that DNA evidence confirmed he was a rapist. I dont know what your media there told you, but here that story has DIED OFF and they have not said anything about it. So whatever reports you heard about DNA are not true, becuase if they were we here in Oakland would have been notified before anyone. You need to watch the media, which has a long history of crucifying black men before even proving them guilty. In this case, I am speaking of the rape charge. I wonder how many of you were blogging and outraged when that white man murdered that young man in cold blood on camera.

Justice is blind…it does not know color and one injustice does not justify another. This pre-school principle that we all learned as children IS still relevant today. That two wrongs do not make a right. I am outraged at the sensless killing of our brothers and sisters, I am further outraged by recent evidence that suggests that based on upbringing latent racial feelings may be making the difference from when an officer pulls the trigger, or talks through a situation. I’m not talking about overt racists, I’m talking about even black officers, and officers that have many diverse friends. The sensless killing of these officers should not be celebrated under any circ**stance as all life is precious, ours and theirs. Justice could only be said to have been served if these officers were themselves perpetrators of racially motivated executions. No one is above the law.

I’m out of Orlando and this story is now nation wide. But what is being reported is the protest-march in support of the murderer. And chanting ‘hero, hero’ over and over. This video is quickly followed with a note that DNA evidence shows he raped a 12 yr old girl. And the community is supporting this rapist? For killing?

I honestly don’t know what the objective of this is other than feeling good for killing 4 men – but anyone who sees this story is disgusted and has a lesser feeling to help the community and support them with their issues with the police. And do you think these killings and support of this rapist will make the police – nice? Or even meaner?

I’m an Oakland resident and I’m well aware of the perception that the police are always hemming up some brotha’. Well people of the planet, don’t believe the hype. I grew up in Oakland, still live there now, and am raising a teenager daughter. I’ve never been arrested by the police, but have had interactions with them, and frankly, I would never cheer hearing that an officer was killed by a punk that didn’t want to go back to jail for violating his parole. Hell, if he wasn’t talking on his cell phone, they would have never even pulled his a** over in the first place. And about a march to glorify and memorialize a monster that killed four police officers because his selfish a** didn’t want to pay for his crimes. (The Uhuru Group did our city a great disservice) I disagree there’s a civil war, and in fact Oakland’s acting Police Chief is black. I agree that some rouge cops (Yes the Riders were rouge cops) do violate the civil rights of others, but in a city with such high crime, impoverishment, unemployment and a disproportionate amount of ex-convicts, the police are needed to maintain order or these lawless thugs will overrun the good citizens.

Oakland police are NOTORIOUS 4 brutality, planting evidence, and murdering black men. I dont see any of our black “bloggers” kicking up dust when this happens, in every city, every day in this country. Google the Oakland riders case. Why didnt u get upset when the black in New Orleans tried to cross a bridge out of N O and got shot, point blank by military and white civilians. 11 total. Why werent u disgusted then? Did u even know about that? I dont condone violence, especially when it ends with a young brother dead. But my efforts r 2 make our communities better 2 keep our youngsters out of jail and a coffin. The question we should be asking, is what is so bad about our prison system that would make a man commit suicide, rather than go back?

If I were u, especially if I were black, I would b real skeptical of the media and anything they say pertaining this case / man. I live in Oakland, born and raised, and I can assure you that the police chief (that brother) has no real power in this city. Neither does the black mayor. Funny how they say he raped a 12 yr old girl and they identified him by his DNA, but there was no APB out 4 him at time of incident. Y NOT? Was the little girl black? I havnt heard anything in the news abt a 12 yr old girl being raped. Now all of a sudden its front page news. They say he walkd up 2 the officers and shot them point blank after he shot them initially. The news reports showed they were shot, but not dead. How were they not dead if he shot them at point blank range? Go to Youtube and research urban warfare. There is a big plan 4 the inner cities (black communities) and it is underway. Situations like this push them 2 the forefront.

In this foul world you reap what you sew..don’t blame me, blame the creator..Bad teachers,clergy, etc don’t assault, and murder innocent people on a regular basis..When an unarmed young black male is gunned down for no appearant reason or because he may have running away from a cop in which case posing no threat to the cop, he is still gunned down in the streets.In light of this,i can understand why there is no tears being shed in the poor black community for their oppressors..one can express your concealed racism all you want, but the fact remains that cops place no moral value on the life of particularly young black males, and even females in the majority black comunities..The GodFather has spoken,so you can continue to hate or change your ways..either way the truth will prevail.. There is no excuse for these people acting this way! These men/officers protected this community and risked their lives while doing so. They gave their lives ultimately. They were good men. Which is more than I can say for you cowards who are celebrating the death of these heros. They protected many people from this vicious criminal. I wonder if his victims would feel they same way as some of you pathetic idots. I seriously doubt they would. How dare you celebrate this vial act. What kind of people are you? Of course there are bad cops out there, there are also bad teachers, bad clergymen/women,bad family members, there is bad everywhere. You can’t blame good people for what bad people did. If this were the case, I’m sure we could find something to hate each of you for too. Try taking a look in the mirror and see whats looking back at you. Perhaps you are celebrating this horrific incident because you yourself are a criminal. I can’t believe that a decent human being would act any such way. Mixon, who was released from prison late last year after serving a sentence for violating his parole for a San Francisco-related robbery shooting, was a suspect in the Dec. 30, 2007, murder of Ramon Stevens, 42, but witnesses did not come forward, investigators said. And now police have confirmed that DNA evidence from a state laboratory possibly links Mixon to the rape of a 12-year-old girl in February near the 74th Avenue apartment, Lt. Kevin Wiley said.

His DNA evidence is in the system because he was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon for an October 2002 carjacking in San Francisco

When you cheer think about Mixon’s victims, especially the 12 year old.
