What are the odds of two males engaging in a “one-time” homosexual tryst only to walk away and never think about such tryst and/or hold a desire for male on male contact ever again?

What are the odds of either of them never having been influenced and/or exposed to homosexuality in any form (rape, incest, pedophilia, cultural media) prior to such tryst?

I have no problem with any man or woman forfillin whatever sexual needs that they have at the time of their needs. I do have a propblem when they don’t use prtection and try to hide the fact they just gotta have it whatever way they want it and to hell with what the world thinks.

Not necessarily. Just because a man has one homosexual encounter, it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s gay. He could just simply be questioning his sexuality; many people, male and female, are curious and do try it out just to see if it’s what they really want or to rule it out. There are men who do have sex with other men while having sex with women, but they don’t consider themselves gay, which is what really matters. Just having sex with someone of the same sex doesn’t make a person gay; it’s about how you feel about being in a relationship, the romantic feelings, however, that do. A man who is actively pursuing a relationship with another man and living together and being together as a couple is what is defined as gay and it works the same for females. What you do in the bedroom isn’t what makes one gay; it’s what’s in the mind and in the heart. My only complaint is about men who are having unprotected sex with men–black men are most guilty of this practice, but it’s not limited to them–and not informing their female partners, usually black females, who are the fast growing HIV/AIDS population right now.

Its just the way society is, but I think one encounter makes you gay, period.

….as for an answer, I don’t believe you can be considered gay if what you are doing is purely physical. PERIOD. everyone has their opinions about homosexuality, mostly their scared, bullshyt and their own hang ups. Every human being goes through it and some even act on it. Others find that it is their preference and stay with it-they are gay. Everyone else is basically testing out the possibilities and regardless of what you THINK about it, that is the REALITY. Most of us are in denial about this s**t and even more of us were subjected to some s**t when we were young that has left a very deep impression.

While some of what you say may be true, the fact remains the physical act of sexual relations (Oral or otherwise…) between 2 heterosexual males is still “GAY”. Whether it was 1 time or not, it’s still “GAY”. This doesn’t change whether you are old, or young, white or black or “other”, or male or female, experimental or drug or alcohol induced. It is a “gay” or homosexual act. Period. It’s up to that person to live with the consequences of what you have done. It sounds like you are trying to justify an act by saying “It’s purely physical”, Sorry, that’s what makes it gay!

I don’t understand our “black” people. We have endured so many obstacles beginning way back from slavery with labels, titles and stereotypes and still yet we choose to use the “white-mans” termonology to still define who we are by our actions. It doesn’t matter what race you are, however, the act of being with someone of the same-sex doesn’t quantify you of being one way or another. If a person does decide to be with the same-sex can’t he or she be who they are ‘still’ with that person without carrying a label? We all tend to forget about what happens during puberty and engaging sexual experiences. Does age really matter? I believe not, because curriosity is what runs our universe.
