As a man who was the victim of the same thing I can tell you that it is not a fun situation to be in. You are at the mercy of the female making the charge. If she has a consistant story and her background is clean you are done. I was able to overcome the situation only because her roommate was able to tell the truth. Had she not came forth with the truth I would not be able to have this well paying Fed job that I have, I would not be able to be an officer in the military (both of which requires me to have a security clearance).
