just barely surviving this recession didn’t think it would be like this

I do like always do before the recession. I don’t live beyond my means and spend wisely.

Doin pretty good considering I was laid off a month ago, I was doin about 150k a yr working in the oilfield and thank God I got enough money saved to hold me for a while…

Im from the 9th ward of new orleans. I gets it in by any means.

P.s. The powerball is $71million, casinos are still open, and celebrities are still riding in $100k cars…
The struggle is real (and always has been) but the “recession” (in my mind) is just reality for people who’ve been irresponsible.
