If adults don’t know how to channel their angry and emotions how can we expect for kids to get over it. There’s a girl in h.s in chicago her friend got shot right in front of her eyes. She went to his funeral and passed out! Children should be enjoying life not worrying.

you right wincie as a kid I’ve seen multiple people killed and had alot of friends shot it has taken me over 10 years to recover from that and start living normal so now I give back and try and work with kids so they don’t follow that same path

This video says a lot. He gives a lot of good points. Parents really need to get better control of their children’s lives. They need to sit down and talk their children about violence and how it affects people as much as it does.

if more parent did their job and raised their kids instead of letting the tv and radio be their babysitter…violence wouldnt effect the kids as much as it does

Kids imitate what they see. If they see other people solving there problems by getting a gun and killing someone, then they are going to go get a gun and kill someone. We as a society teach our kids to act out on our anger, rather than deal with our emotions in other healthy ways, like going to the gym, sports and other healthy hobbies. We teach our kids to deal with problems by using violence.

Well, it is true that the streets and violence period can give your child or anyone for that matter PTSD…whether it comes from in the home, the tv or in the streets.some people thrive off of violence and can handle it, while others can’t.any and everything in this world is addictive….You have to choose your battels. Its sad when you don’t have a choice and can’t control it.

Well I know for one Im a single mother of 2 lil boys ..its hard sometimes when my oldest son gets angry and hes just now 9..he has alot of anger and I know some of it comes from not having a dad..I hate that for him but I cant allow him to act that way and be a menace to society, thats y Im getting him help NOW!!! More parents need to be involved in their kids lives or stop making babies..true I knew the chance I was taking but so does everyone else..men and women !! If ur willing to have sex then u need 2 b willing to take care ur kids should that happen !!

yes i see this is a virus with no cure but prayer i was in a dv case i have 4 children with PTDS and it is hard but i know every day that it will get better cause that is all i can do. in cases like this it is best to relocate like i had to and talking to you children every day cause they need us for support and repair there lives back to somewhat normal

well ptsd is not a way of life, take it from someone who has been sexully abused, raped twice, beaten in several relationships. ptsd is a problem but to solve it love needs to be the cure as well as support and reassurance. thats how i’ve gotten through it and thats how i’m getting married to someone who loves unconditionally, like i said love has to be the cure.
