Poll: Obama’s Approval Rating Falls Below 50 Percent

WASHINGTON – For much of his first year in office, President Barack Obama has largely defied political gravity in the midst of skyrocketing unemployment, an ambitious legislative agenda and wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

His approval rating remained above 50 percent, a plurality viewed his party positively, and even the number believing the country was on the right track — despite the bad news — temporarily spiked during his first few months on the job.

But now nearing the end of his first year in office, the economy, the wars and the legislative skirmishes finally have taken a toll on the president and his party, according to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

    During the campaign when Michelle was talking about her husband I thought she was being too hard on him and wanted her to be more positive in her representation of him but now I think I should have listened closer to the little clues she was giving us. I wanted the Clintons b/c 2 for the price of 1 was what my pocket needed and Bill left me w/money in the bank.

    Barack was smooth w/all that prattle about Race In America. Hilary couldn’t touch me there. Upon submitting a resume to Obama’s democrats they refused it. This is heartbreak that genetically exceeds Elin’s tryst w/Tiger. Barack and the Dems began w/low expectations.

    I think Barack believes in the right thing but shares Gore’s weakness for not putting up a fight for what would be their personal best. It’s easier to blame the other side in not being cooperative.

    Since Barack never said anything about improving racial equity, it’s not in the equation. Clear enforcement and deliniating the terms of the Constitution with federal agencies brought into compliance applies. EEOC and employer blacklisting is rampant. My postal carrier, for 24 years just lost his job, they said 71 is to old. He’s a vet, black w/6 years to collect his pension. Where’s the freakin compasssion? On this issue President Barack Obama gets an F.

    This has been the most visual/activity President in the last 50 years, and those sorry ass republicans with their bs polls in which they only ask 12 to 13 people their opinion, are holding our country hostage by not agreeing on even the simplest legislation and now playing the health care game while they are able to have a doctor when they to, shows just how trifling and silly they really are. The only real hold up to passing health care reform, is their desire not to allow Barrack his opportunity to meet his deadline. I think that this is an abortion. Play games with peoples live, while enjoy the privileges that they are denying the very people that need it the most. There has never been an African American Republican house speaker, as Micheal Steele was chosen to fling the RACIST rhetoric that these clowns would have used on Obama so they modified the Al Jolson effect by appoint Steele to their Uncle Tom dirty work. When it come to the white media judging Obama or any other black Man I quote/tout the eloquence of Flavor Flav “Don’t believe the hype”
