The problem is there are less black business owners to hire qualified blacks. We are so dependent on white folks to do everything for us. Even give us jobs. We need more entrepreneurs and less jobs seekers. Because if you can’t find a job, create one.

It just means that the very true but sad saying”First to get Fired,Last to get Hired”still applies this very day.The fact that we have a Black President,or that the N.A.A.C.P,turned 100yrs old!…Just mean’s that we have to work that much more harder.We’re gonna be examined under a fine micro-scope more so than ever now.We really didn’t have no excuses before the first black President.We really shouldn’t have any now.Can’t say it’s the “White Man”crap no more…!

When looking at these unemployment statistics, did they consider how many blacks were unemployed prior to the proclaimed recession? We need more blacks to be educated, graduate high school and continue their education. We need to push or children, stop the trends from childhood. Welfare has become the goal of most. Single mothers at young ages, who get on welfare and just continue the trend with their children. Incarcerated teens, futures lost before they ever get started in life. I haven’t heard a word about President Obama’s encouragement of single mom’s returning to school, there have been new grants created just for this purpose. Education requires work, welfare requires none.
