Yeah, i guess it makes sense to date the white “night” if you are socially assimilated. The problem is not a shortage of black men, but moreso the huge gap between the social and economic status of black men and women. When black women are successful in a white ruled society, they are not only exotic and attractive to the white culture, but they are now considered a part of their culture,and therefore, they become a hot commodity, in which case black women who date white men obvious feel a sense of loyalty to the white master like harriot jacobs did in an attempt to escape her fate as a slave girl.I just met a beautiful black queen from south africa, and I pray to the most high she don’t become friends with someone who is dillusional like Regina King.

I think that black women SHOULD date outside of their race, but not for the reasons that everyone else is saying. I like to say they should do it for the “HALLE BERRY REALIZATION”, which is you can date a bunch of blacks, mixed race men, and then finally a white man, and end up with the same result, YOU GET DUMPED AGAIN! That only further highlights whether or not black women are their own worst problem, and they are forced to come to the realization that: 1) non-black men are no different from black men, therefore the anti-black man propaganda (by black women) should cease immediately, and 2) that black women need to look at themselves in the mirror, and realize they can’t keep any man, no matter their looks, because there is something about THEMSELVES that is broken and needs attention.
So this is why I support black women crossing over, to get a hard, cold reality check. Fellas, I know that annoys you, but black women need to wake up to check themselves, stop criminalizing us men, and this is the sure-fire method of doing so. If they come out of it hating ALL MEN, I can live with that, but when they’re saying any race is better than another, by definition, that’s racist.

Alot of people choose not to because of what others might say or think. Sometimes some people just never gave it another thought. Funny thing tho was, when i was in high school in Long Beach (which as a big mix of races) i had 3 close friends i was running round with everyday,1 was black, 1 was guatemalen, and the other was asian/white,,,all 3 of them only were into white boys, i didnt get it,,i kept asking them whats that about cuz i am attracted to all races, but they only wanted 1 which is fine but no interest in their own,,lol. anyway they finally opened up to the idea and found men of their own race and 2 r married now. So hey sometimes dating outside ur race works,,sometimes it doesnt. I could care less what anyone else is doing, until they get in my business. If someone makes u laugh, feel secure, u feel their the one, then fk what anyone else says, i know i could care less. Ima be with who ima be with. I agree with knockthatshytoff, dating outside the race is a personal choice, not something that should be forced upon others. Ya’ll already know that I prefer to do that, but I know VERY well that it’s not what majority of BW want to do. At the same time, I don’t want anyone forcing me to date who I have no interest in. It has happened before with a couple of folks, but I cut them off. You like what you like….no shame in that.

What I don’t agree with is calling anyone dumb, though. If they want black men, let them have them.
