While President Obama talked healthcare with ABC tonight, the rest of the Obama family skipped out to see the Beyonce show in Washington, D.C.
The first lady took first tweens Malia and Sasha to the Verizon Center to see one of their favorite singers, bringing along friends from Chicago as well as staffers from the White House, the first lady’s office confirms.
The Obamas are all well documented fans. Beyonce sang for the Obamas’ first dance on inauguration night, as well as other inaugural events throughout the weekend in January.
Beyonce told Vogue Magazine shortly after that Michelle Obama said she was a role model for her girls.
