I for one would like to say MORE than FIVE WORDS on this subject. I am an AVID Forensic Files (TruTV) viewer and I’ve noticed myself that 99.999 percent of the time when the Victim of a Crime is WHITE and the Perpetrator is a Minority (e.g. Black or Mexican/Latino) the sentence is STIFF (e.g. 100+ years/Life or the DEATH Sentence). But when the PERPETRATOR is WHITE, it doesn’t usually matter WHAT the Victim was, the Perp usually gets 20 years or less or just a 5 or 10 year Probation. In cases where the Victim & Perpetrator were BOTH White, then there’s about a 50/50 chance that the Perpetrator will get a bigger Sentence! I’m so glad to see that my findings are now being brought to the Public’s attention. Even though sadly, most won’t care to discuss this.. There’s ‘more important stuff out there’ (being sarcastic) like.. Drake, Jay-Z and who Rihanna is dating now.. [>:-(

yes this is very true, but at the same time this is all the more reason why we as minorities need to learn to act accordingly. We are living in a country with a system and is literally twisted to hold us down. So why go out and act a fool?…We need to heal our communities and invest in our businesses and education more. Parents need to start being more concerned about what their children are learning. Fight against all of these liquor stores put into our communities. Build up old ass properties and make activities programs that are fun and educational. Women stop keeping these mens babies thinking he will be there. Men wrap it up. People dont wait until an 8 year old gets a bullet through their head, to stand up and do something. Stop blaming the media and white folks for anything. Yes they have contributed but we are doing just as much damage that they have done and that they are doing because we are not trying to change it

Truth: This society has always been against minorities. False: It is not getting better.
What blacks need to do is have a no nonsense attitude when it comes to education especially for the males. Education and common sense would have an impact so severe on the negative attitudes that we are faced with, many of our problems would decrease within five to ten years. Also, this problem is not just with our families but our community. As a whole, we must encourage the youngsters, especially at the vulnarable ages when many fall prey to the videos and the false promises our entertainment companies provide.

Well I see everybody point but it’s true a lot of young black men are either in jail, drugs, or graveyard and the black woman they are turning to each other for support and loving each other and having deep feeling for each other so what is there to do and yes there are some black men left out here but if they not married or player of the field hurting the hearts of some of the ladies out here looking for that support from a man but will some of them find it out here in this wicked planet,,,,,,,,,peace out!!!

DaintyJen the biggest flaw in the system is that if you have the money you can get away. TI is a perfect example. Previous multiple felon, get’s caught with buying enough guns to go to war in Iraq and only get’s a year and a day. As long as you got money you can get away with a slap on the wrist most of the time.

you are right @ Sub-Negro…but my point is is that, if you dont have the money and you know you are more of a target, then why act a fool? I know it may not be their faults (half the time), but that whole “i grew up rough” and blahblahblah that is no excuse. My point is, what this article is talking about=is all the more reason why we as blacks need to come together and begin to heal. It is time to start bringing up more men and women and less thugs and silly females. Nowadays we are the only ones holding ourselves and our community down. People been broke, people been hurting, people been killing each other and yet, its only had negative consequences, so why keep doing it? It’s not just poor communities also, even blacks who have their stuff together need to invest and help build up their owns communities. There will always be a flaw in the system but I mean once we have our stuff together as a whole, then we can put our foot down a say some s**t..
