I live in this area where this happen. And this was wrong in every aspect of the word. The police do use excessive force. this man was not resisting and he had his hands on the car. I understand they are here to enforce the laws but they come at you so aggressive,These police officers was allowed to return to work. They should have been fired!!!

This incident happened in the city I live in and it’s not hard believing this kind of brutality still exist. There is still a lot of racism right here in Bmt. Not too long ago in the next little town of Lumberton, a black man was killed by the hands of cops. All I have to say is they will reap what they sow.

I live in Beaumont and they have been beating people out here since I can remember . They always have complaints and but they quietly go away . I glad to see this is not just on the local news. My God, it just bring me to tears on how helpless this young man was in this situation. It really doesn’t make any sense. I’m not saying the cop had the right to beat this man like this but, as most of you stated, cops are always looking for a reason to kick azz. So, why would you give them a reason??? Juvenile said it best in his song “Ya Dig.” “Some black folks got too much pride that’s why they strugglin’ ya dig.” Because we “hate” cops, we don’t want to reply in a tactful and/or respectful manner to the cops. Our pride gets the best of us in situations like this. So, next time a cop pulls you over and asks for your registration and driver’s license, just remember not to give them a reason. Everyone is entitled to his or her on opinion. But I feel like the police officer lost control. this was outragous, I live approximetly 15 miles from Beaumont Texas. The moment you speak to them it should’nt be in an aggressive tone because they definetly will respond to your behavior. I am not stating that what they did was right, but we are always on the defensive when it comes down to dealing with the po-pos.Yes some do approach you with a nasty attitude but if you don’t provoke the situation, you can be on your way. But I have a few police officer friends and I was told that they will always stop a car with 3 or 4 blks youths in it before the will stop a car with 2 or 3 white people in it. That to me is racial profiling.this type of behavior by police will probably never stop, because of the authority that they have makes them excluded from the law. well.. here in the lou.. city cop’z r real cool.. s**t i had a cop running from me one day.. lol.. i chase him around his car and couldn’t catch his ass they run fast.. guest i’m a girl and he didn’t want 2 touch r hurt me.. i was drink yes.. i’m sorry about it all.. he called my sister and she came and got me.. he was a white officer 2.. so i don’t have nothing bad 2 say about police.. but i hate the ticket’z they love 2 give out.. lol..

It looked fine to me . It looks like text book procedure . Hell i’ll go as far to say that they could have gotten away with kicking the big dudes ass in the first minute of the video and they didnt . This is 1 for the cops, but with this video compare it to the 15 yr old girl at the jail, sean bell,rodney king ,the philly cops and many other situations , its clear that they all could have been handled with alot less force . These where the good cops that get s**t on because of the bad cops that have done so much more . So cops you get a backhanded good job because they showed what a stop should have looked like when things are not as nice as they should be .

Cops wonder why we as African Americans have the attitude we do towards them. I live in Cali and I was on florence and normandie when it kicked off. Now I would be wrong if I said all African American men and women over the age of 21 should excercise thier second amendment right and possess a firearm and when ever we feel threatned shoot them 50 times. I know what we should do!!! Build our own jail and pull over every white cop that looks like he is in the wrong neighborhood and when we get him back to the station sodomize them with a plunger. Better yet lets pull a white cop over for speeding and beat him senseless. Let somebody video tape and then go to court and say “it wasn’t me”. Cops need to understand if African Americans start coming together and deciding to take a stand … we will own any and everything they thought they did!!! Like I said before the police is getting outta control. My homeboy jumped in front of a police car to save a little 3 year old gyrl for being hit by a police officer, my homeboy got bumped by the car but the child didn’t get hurt, it just scared her. The officer was back up to another officer who was chasing someone on foot. Anyway, my homeboy went to jail, because the officer say he was interfering with police business. He tried and witness tried to explain to the officer that he would have hit a 3 year that was playing on the grass, which he wanted to speed arcoss and if it was not for him jumping in front of him and bring him to slam on brakes. The officer, the mother of the 3 year old, and witness were fussing because the officer said no child was playing on the grass. So he then called for more back up, and told us if we didn’t back off we were all going to go jail also for interfering with police business.
