I’m glad Rodeny has a fair chance to fight a former Police Officer in a boxing match. He was totally over matched when he was beat by four or five Cops with batons and tazers. I just hope Rodney wins, and I respect this former Cop to actually put on gloves and get in the ring with Rodney. He’s got more guts then those other Cops which they all beat Rodeny gang member style. At least one of the Cops can live his life with some pieace of mind, whether he wins or losses. I think Rodney King using that traumatic situation not only shows the world (especially those jerks who beat him down)that he’s stuck back in 1991 when the beating occured, it’s also showing that he’s become a slave to the situation.

How not to be a slave, Rodney King? By NOT allowing yourself to be pimped and exploited by the tragedies of your past! Take the rope of mediocrity off your neck by ditching the drugs, toss the alcohol, stop beating up on your girlfriends or whoever, and know WHO you are and the REAL purpose to why you survived that hellish situation over a decade ago!

All I heard about Rodney King since the incident was negative things- how he was arrested for beating up his wife or girlfriend and him being stung out drugs. Then I saw him on a VH1 show called “Celebrity Rehab” where he was sitting in a truck guzzling beer. They showed him relapsing more into his habits than the progress he was making trying to get help.

Many people say Rodney King was beaten so bad by the LAPD that they beat the sense out of his head… I say no, because if he has enough sense to use his ordeal to do reality shows then he’s got enough sense to use his ordeal to launch an organization dedicated to cracking down on Police Brutality and racial profiling, which still exists even though we have a Black President.

Society gave Rodney a rope to hang himself, now that society moved on to other more current issues, Rodney hasn’t let go of the rope. He keeps pulling out the rope and hanging his own self with it. The best thing Rodney King could do for himself is to not perpetuate the Willie Lynch curse that kept hundreds of thousand generations of African Americans in bondage.

Rodney, yes,show your face in the limelight, but show it doing something POSTIVE and CONSTRUCTIVE with yourself. The best revenge you can serve any a&# hole who tried to take you down in life is that you moved FORWARD not backward.
