
Since Sandra Bullock’s announcement last week in People magazine that she’s adopted a Black baby boy from New Orleans, there has been a lot of debate on the issue of transracial adoption. Should we be glad black babies are adopted by white people instead of left as orphans in the child welfare system, or is it a trend the Black community should be wary of?
