What happens when outsiders to the HBCU community try to impact Black college culture? The answer may not be as straightforward as you think.
They came, they saw, they said goodbye. Crowds stood, camped out on lawn chairs in Times Square for several hours as they watched Michael Jackson’s memorial service Tuesday.
Some had traveled from as far as Atlanta, others brought their young children to witness the broadcast live from the crossroads of the world, bidding the king of pop one last farewell.
