This is a perception thing. The thing is, back in Reagan’s day, you didn’t have the 24hr news cycle like you do now. Didn’t have blogs, cable news shows, talk radio (to the extent as you do now), youtube, Twitter, ZERONEWS etc. THese days, people are exposed to a lot more information and are EASILY able to voice an opinion. The blame game was just as strong towards Regan, Clinton, Bush and family as it is Obama, it just reaches more people now than it ever did.

I don’t think anyone can really prove or disprove whether or not one president is getting blamed more than another unless every single person in the country was surveyed, and asked who they blame. The issues at home and around the world are different. These are difficult times, and people want results now, and not later. There are people that don’t like President Obama because he is black, but I think if you go back to his overwhelming margin of victory you can reasonably conclude that race is not that much of a factor in his job approval rating of 50% after 1 year in office, only Ronald Reagan was lower, with 49%. Is he really getting blamed more than any other president in the past? He might be, or he may not be, there is no true way to prove or disprove that, other than what I’ve already stated.

Many people have problems with Obama’s politics.

It is of a special flavor, and there are lots of people that understand what that flavor is and they disagree with it whole heartedly.

The nation is going in a direction that many people don’t approve of.

On the other hand many people(black people) see him as being the first black President.

Both those things are vastly different from anything that this country or this world has ever seen (USA going in the radical political direction and also having a black president).

Many times people get these two things (radical new politics being rejected and having a black president) mixed up and confused with one another.

Because of that, we have what many of you perceive ( an unfair treatment of Obama because he is black).

Is Obama criticized a lot? Yes, he is a whole lot.

Is is it the most of any president, probably not.

But when you are as radical as Obama you are going to get the response from the population that he is getting.

I am currently living in Europe and working in and out of Africa.

The changes that the Obama administration is pushing is same as the one that exist in Europe.

I can tell you for a fact that it is very different than what currently exist in the US. Very different, and as good as it sounds when Democrats push those changes, I am not sure that the US is ready for them (JMO).

There are plenty people who criticize Obama’s policies who are very aware of what the changes are and what they mean. Many of these people also happen to be white.

So, does that make Obama the most criticized president in our history because white people in the US are racist?

@Ivan_Ross. Here is my overall point. When you look at the economy and the military, the people and stucture BEHIND the scenes remain static. ONly thing that changes are the spokespeople. Case in point. This Credit Derivative Market that has greatly contributed to this currect economic mess we are in came about in large part when the Clinton admin replealed Glass-Stegall. Ok, there is a doc**entary that discusses the battle Brooksley Born head of the CFTC had with something known as the Presidential Working Group. This group was led by Alan Greenspan, Robert Rubin, Larry Summers, Alan Greenspan, Arthur Levitt and a young Tim Geithner. They had many meetings and made plans crafting the rules while blocking Mrs. Born’s attempts to regulate it. They made the point that regulation would stifle billion dollar growth. One notable person not in on these meetings was President Clinton. My point? There are people behind the scenes who craft policy and methods. Presidents are used to “sell” this to the public with no real input. Clinton has now admitted that he got BAD advice from Summers, Rubin and Greenspan, but at that time he had no real understanding of how economics works. Again, these guys are spokesmen. Now, did anyone know that there was a Trillion dollar bailout given to a company called Long Term Capital Management? Seems a though, they were too big to fail. They had the entire global economy attached to their derivative scheme. Sound familiar? It should, it’s the same thing we are going through now. These people DON’T CHANGE. We are fckn slaves to these people, and you people are trying to put hope in the house negro? What I have been preaching on this site for the last 6 months is this.

We are the sea that all these clowns (repubs, dems, and secret societies) swim in, we are the air that they breath.

We must stop giving them the power they need to rule over us and act for ourselves.

What I mean is we relinquish power to the dems at a ratio of 90% to 10% (we being black people in the US).

Then we hold hope that they are going to give us change we can believe in. Give us the education we desire (the same education that would make us wise to their devices). They would give us the medical care that we want. The houses that some of us don’t deserve.

The only way we can overcome this is to take the founding fathers at their word, become of the People and by the People. The TEA Party realize this.

Here is how it works in the GOVERNMENT field/system. You got the President as the leader(headcoach)who got to run everything pass every government group/party(his players)then give an over all detail of his plans to them to vote on and pass. In which the government parties will come to an agreement on rather or not to vote in or out or making changes too. IF NOONE IS COMING UP WITH ANY PLANS THEY ALL AGREE ON…ITS LEFT WITH FINGER POINTING AT EACHOTHER. And who do it fall back on the President? You can have all the government groups sit in and come up with a plan to bring change without the President they just need the vote. EVERYTHING IS VOTED ON its not just passed. ALL those government groups who are in offices KNOW the ropes of how the system work and some has been in offices for years and couldn’t come up with a better plan to vote in some change that will help the american people. They would rather sit and finger point at eachother rather than work together. Then send someone out infront of the camera to act as if President Obama is to blame for everything. It takes more than the President to make change or pass a vote it NEED THE HOLD GOVERNMENT GROUP/SYSTEM/PARTIES TO COME TOGETHER TO MAKE CHANGE. The thing is, the economy is the one thing that keeps US enslaved to the system. They decide what is acceptable money (FIAT currency vs. Gold, Silver or other hard assets)then they keep us chasing it all our lives. They are now actively manipulating the price of gold and silver (this is doc**ented fact) keep the prices artificially low. The Federal Open Market Comittee, sets domestic monetary policy and if you read Money Mechanics that the FED prints, even if you don’t understand it in it’s entirely, it’s clear to see that games are played with the numbers provided for us on CNN. Same with the unemployment. The headline is about 9.5 but in reality, it’s closer to 17%. If you check the BLS website, they even tell you that they “report” the U3 number, but the U6 number is more accurate.

One thing I will say in defense of BHO though, he did say healthcare was his priority along with the war and the economy. None of these three have been dealt with properly to bring about real change. Just lip service. Unless someone can provide some info to the contrary. I won’t even ask Carolina, cause she ain’t wasting no time providing facts for her claims, she is just happy making the claim.

Also, EVERY SINGLE candidate that has run for anythinghas always run on a platform of change. I have yet to hear anyone state, they are happy with the way govt is currently running, yet, when they ALL get elected, it never changes. Even the ones who do make the effort to bring about real change get swallowed up by the system. People don’t realize, it’s a failed system. GBush II was one of THE worst Presidents ever. Fiscally, morally, and scholastically. I don’t care if he went to Yale, especially since you can pay your way in, the guy was an idiot, plain and simple. This guy destroyed the economy, knowing broke several (of his own) Federal laws, flipped off the Geneva Convention, etc.

HOWEVER, even though he had a similar amount of SCRUTINY as Obama does now, Bush never felt the sting of INSTANT hatred. Technology’s enhancements have turned all of us into ‘specialists’ just by virtue of being able to log onto a message board or Twitter. I’ll be damned before I care what “@MisterGrapevine feels about the President, but you’ll see those damn tweets on just about every regular and cable NEWS show every single day!!! obama, in 2 years has passed laws protecting the AVERAGE citizens (here we go again). obama has SAVED lives of citizens by making sure those with pre-existing conditions (those old white baby boomers with the “obama is a socialist” poster all the time recieving madicare, medicaid, welfare, ssi, wic, section 8 etc.)have access to health care. hes increased the map and pell grant, brought down taxes for the middle and lower classes, ended the war in iraq, extended unemployment, passed financial reform, increased federal funding of hbcu’s, rebuilt our infrustructure and increased taxes on the wealthy.

All these things you’re talking about may or may not be valid, but THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IF OBAMA CATCHES MORE BLAME THAN ANY OTHER PRESIDENT. If the article is understood properly, its’ talking about if BHO is catching more blame for the current state of the country than other Presidents, NOT all that crap you’re talking about.
