I concur with you both.

And as bad as I hate to say this, blacks need to have our own version of the TEA party.

Not their message but their methods.

You have to agree, it scares the sh!t out of the democrats.

Black people we cant keep living with the lesser of two evils concept. We are foolish to believe that either party got our best interest in mind.

Lets be our own voice and lets stop this foolish fantasy.

During the Civil War republicans were the ones fighting to end slavery and setting up the Freedmens Bureau to assist newly freed slaves. My how things have changed. Black people do and have the power to make a profound impact and society knows it too. History has shown that with the Civil Rights Movement, however we all know what happened to MLK and Malcolm X. Farrakhan is currently the only person that I think could successfully develop that type of movement. On a smaller scale, we as African Americans have lost sense of community and that must be regained before a movement can happen that would make a difference. When you go into a white community they have a couple of churches, we on the other hand may have 10 different churches in a 5 mile radius simply because we dont stick togehter. As long as we are divided, we can not stand….

Donna Brazile is not a politician, she has never been elected to political office. She is a political analyst as well as the first African American woman to be the campaign manager for a presidential campaign.

First, Charles Rangel and now Maxine Waters, it is obvious that members of the black caucus are being singled out. Let’s not forget the incident concerning Mrs. Sherrod, we should not sit idly by and allow these backwards buffoons from the so-called Tea Party make a mockery out of our black politicians in an attempt to make President Obama, and the entire democratic party look bad. There should be a national protest against these people, in other words, if they want war then we should give them war. The late Rev. Vernon Johns was right, “If you see a good fight, get in it.”

While I agree both parties are corrupt, it bothers me that from all the members of Congress investigated intitially, only CBC members were given a “thorough” review. Now they’ve caught Maxine and Charles Rangel in this mess. To be honest, I don’t know that they’re innocent. I also don’t think they act any differently than the rest of their politician peers.

Dems better be careful, I’m from LA and Maxine is the modern Sojourner Truth for us. No one could do anything to turn the people from her. But actions like this can turn the people from the party that continually targets her and those who look like her.

Sidenote, I’m glad neither took the plea and are fighting the charges in trial. Let’s get ready to rumble!
