Well duh people. It’s not only fast food they dump all this crazy shiit in but just about everything else we eat. I try and eat as healthy as possible, mostly fruits, veggies, lean meats, and whole grain stuff. Gotta keep them arteries unclogged.

I could of guessed it…smh I hope ppl learn something from this. When something is shown to you believe it.

The ironic thing to me is that I would bet real money that a lot of the people on both sites who read this article and have the “wtf? that is nasty” comments probably smoked a few cigarettes today, or drove without seatbelts on the way to work, or drank til they puked over the holiday weekend…

That being said: Fast food is pretty nasty overall. That’s why I learned how to cook in the first place.

Don’t depend on someone else to keep you or your kids fed. When that happens, people start freakin out like that lady who went psycho b/c the McD’s ran out of Putty Nuggets..lol

I stopped eating reese’s cups and kit kat bars.

It isn’t just this. Think of the chemicals they use to spray vegetables with and I am sure it is not just McDonald’s or fast food places.

I’m with blkpuddn, I also noticed that they tasted kind of funny, and after I ate them that one time I never went back. Besides all McDonald’s food is unhealthy, it feels as though my body is hurting after eating it.

Not at all surprising. I read the ingredients labels when I can, and most of what passes for food is is just a big list of chemicals and byproduct with just enough real food to make it pass.

That’s terrible, especially for all the little kiddies and parents who enjoy buying these for their
children. I can’t understand why they need all that junk to make nuggets. I wonder how many parents will stop buying them now that they know this.

Even if you buy your food from the grocery store, your still putting chemicals in your body, even if your eating fruits and veggies. The only way you can be safe is if your growing your own foods and meats. Then you’ll know for sure what’s going in your foods. If your buying fruits, veggies, and lean meats from the grocery store, the chemicals and steroids they using to grow them faster is still entering your body. Even bottle water have other stuff put in it. Next time your in the store, pick up a bottle of Dasani water and read the “ingredients” they put in it.

Did somebody say you can get a 2 for 1 silly putty and chicken nuggets. Hey will save me some money! lol Seriously though I never ate mcdonalds nuggets anyway i mean look at them they dont even look real. I could never get over they way they looked.

If you think that’s bad (and it is) you should see what they do to KFC chicken! Truth be told, the factory farm business is totally dangerous our health. As much as possible I eat organically grown food, which everyone can find in their town somewhere (check the internet). It may cost a little more but aren’t you and your health and the health of your families worth it? I know mine are.

The late Peter Jennings did an investigative report on the Corn industry. It was a real eye opener.

Don’t sleep on the fries and burgers. There is an experiment a lady on Youtube performed. She kept a happy meal for 3 years, and it NEVER decomposed. Regular potato’s should start to break down with a day or two that is exposed to air. These people don’t mind killing you/us for a profit.

it really isnt that serious…. considering that almost all water u drink has fluoride and all ur favorite body washes have the most dangerous products in it. if ur really that scared u shouldn’t by any cooked food & strictly cook, bathe & clean with 100% organic products.

Not really surprising. Big corporations love making money and killing people in the process. Sad but true. I’ve stopped eating all red meat and definitely pork a few years ago, but now, it seems like I can’t even eat their chicken nuggets anymore.
That’s why I cook 90% of the time, and definitely try to buy 100% organic:o)

I am so glad that I made the decision to become vegan years ago. Since adopting this dietary regiment, I have witnessed a demonstrative improvement in my mental, physical, psychological and physiological functioning. My hair is beautifully thick and luscious; my skin is flawless; and clarity of thought and mental agility are A+. A vegan diet is by no means perfect, but it is definitely a step in the right direction (for me).

I am seriously contemplating adopting an ALL RAW diet, but quite frankly, I am not quite ready to make that commitment yet– maybe next year?

i stopped eatting crap like this 9 months ago..i ate alot of fast food and bought junk from the grocery stores..i felt horrible,i felt like i was slowing down and blowded..but then i dicided it was time for a change i started eating alot of baked or grilled protien and im eatting alot of carbohydrates..if im craving something sweet i eat sherbert not mayfield,dq,lemon maraine pie anymore smh…i dont drink sodas hardly,i drink gatorade or water..i workout and play basketball i went from 245 to 210 in 4 months i feel good and im dominating on the court..

I always find mcdonald food to taste rubbery. DQ burgers are better.

I don’t remember if I saw the Peter Jennings doc**entary or not but it sounds interesting. I once heard that 80% of the corn grown in the USA is fed to livestock and that it takes 20 pounds of grain to make 1 pound of meat. How else can we have so much meat in America (and we do love to eat meat)? 60% of the people on earth (approx 3-4 billion) can only afford to eat meat occasionally.

I believe it. Something about those nuggets doesn’t taste right. Actually, most fast foods make me feel sickly if I eat it too much, eating it like 2-3 days straight. It’s funny how fast food joints are everywhere cuz when I was a kid you didn’t see so many fast food restaurants. Now there’s an abundance of them. They were there then, but people didn’t eat out like they do now. When I was a kid, even McDonald’s was a luxury, like a once a month thing. And they wonder why so many kids and teenagers are overweight. Fast food consumption is a national crisis. Most of it tastes good, but like they say “all things that look good, taste good, etc., ain’t good for you.’

Or….you can just eat all that crap and then do the master cleanse aka lemonade diet. It will detoxify you of all the crap that is killing us softly plus you will lose weight and inches. The main thing you need is willpower.

I was on for two days, but my booty became too raw after going to the bathroom too much. But hey, I do feel alot lighter and energetic. Try it and see what results you get.

Eliminate processed foods and only eat whole foods. Now to be honest, most of our foods have some level toxicity in it anyway, even organically grown, but this is the one time when I advocate the lesser of two evils. Short of growing your own food as Real_bumbleclot stated, it’s almost inescapable to ingest some unwanted ingredients.

In the mid 90′s, I worked at McDonald’s, saying that you have to been have seen how long frozen foods is kept in the freezer. Now keep in mind the the freezer is huge. Meat was delivered damn near ever month. So the meat towards the back may not get used until probably three months since it been delivered. Not to mention, after preparing the burgers and rapping them then they are placed in the microwave before servings. The fries is a long story, lets just say, those are not real potatoes.

@saleem_Ali I agree with you 100%. That is where all these disease’s come from. I think the FDA should be held accountable for what is put into these foods. Thats why they dont want Universal Health Care so the uninsured can die off. Its a shame.

Some of these articles are created to get a rise out of people. What if one of the chemicals found in chicken nuggets and silly putty was olive oil? I follow the, “you should not eat the food if you can’t pronounce the ingredients”, and thumbs up to growing our own food and living a healthy lifestyle, but this was written to cause people to fly off the handle and give the impression that McDonalds is the devil.
A healthy lifestyle is our own personal responsibility, so look at all ingredients in your food, toiletries, household cleansers, not just those from McDonalds.

I tend to stay away from foods that I don’t know fully what’s in them, nor do I want to know what’s in them. Makes for a healthier diet.

so-soft-in-Tx. you know, I actually partially agree with you. You make a compelling point about the sensationalized way i some stories are presented here. However, I do believe McDonalds and others who play with food are indeed the devil because they have shown and proven, they have no qualms about poisoning you or your children in order to make a profit…If that’s not the definition of a devil, I’m not sure what is.

If you haven’t seen it, I recommend the two doc**entaries “The Future of Food” and “Food Inc.” Don’t stop there! Read up on Aspartame and Flouride in the water system. Then, peep the connection to Healthcare, Insurance companies etc. It’s a revolving door of death.

Yup! The shakes were being produced form some sort of a plastique (plastic) that is digestible…well sort of. It was cold and think yet would pass through your system w/o any real absorption. Go figure.

Oh! and that was besides the Mdonald glasses containing the lead in it. (back in the 70′s or 80′s) I know because my mother had a complete set up until just a few years ago when we sold the house.

Whomever asked, Soylent Green was the name of a old movie about the World populaton out of control and the Government’s ability to feed them. In a nutshell, they were using the bodies of dead people as the food supply. I can’t remember whether they killed them or they died of natural causes, but I think it was the former.

Now imma have to go and find that movie and rewatch. Haven’t really thought about it in years. lol

Food Inc messed me up, man. I felt a tear for those chickens all crammed in there and pigs all smashed up like that. Wow, what a great doc**entary. Also let you know where the Food Industry heads came from or went to, in terms of Government jobs, after they left companies, and you can see how the Food industry is allowed to get away with things, due to their cronies hooking them up, once former company heads got government jobs. Your boy Clarence Thomas was a lawyer for one of those major food companies and he’s the reason companies have these rights with relations to SEED patent protections, including if the wind blows seeds into a neighboring area, that’s the property of the owner of the seed. Yeah, i made the change from fast food places many many years ago after a 2 week trip to Orlando, FL. I swear after about a week and a half of eating take out i started to feel sick. I know my boby very well like that.

WOW … they put anti foaming agents in just about every thing they sell… grape juice to soda… two items I know of for certain off the top of my head…why do you think the foam goes down in soda so fast… the anti foaming agent knocks it down to make those products more pleasing to the eye and they appear more appetizing… if it was not chicken then they could not legally call it chicken….

I don’t eat McDonald’s myself… but if you gonna believe this … then there are a lot of products that use the so-called silly putty chemical that they are referring to here…

I know this because I used to work in research and development for Dow Corning, one of the companies that makes anti-foam and other silicone based products. I specifically worked on a shelf life study for anti-foam products.
