The Florida Department of Transportation recently posted a very graphic safety video of pedestrians being hit by cars.
The video, “See the Blind Spots,” shows a pedestrians being hit by cars and police holding body bags.

State Rep. Irv Slosberg, a Democrat from Boca Raton, said the “See the Blind Spots” video is a much-needed wake-up call for walkers and drivers. He said the scenes were stripped off the internet.
“We need something graphic on the air,” he said. “We’re going backwards instead of forwards. A lot of it has to do with driver distraction: cell phones, texting and driving.”
