BP Appoints Robert Dudley New CEO

BP’s new chief executive, Robert Dudley, is an industry veteran with wide-ranging qualifications, but it was his American passport as much as his in-depth knowledge of Russia and his green credentials that sealed the deal for the board.

BP said Tuesday that, by mutual agreement, Tony Hayward will step down as group chief executive with effect from October 1 and he will be succeeded by fellow executive director Dudley.

    dont worry folks. white folks will take care of there own. mr hayward cost the company billions and he is awarded a demotion to another job within the company and $1.6 million check to go with it. you could have your life back now : )

    What folks don’t understand is that these companies have lots of practice runs polluting the shores of poor non-western countries and getting away with it so why would they stop now? It was only a matter of time…

    Afterall lets look at the banks… They caused the financial crisis, screwed billions of people, got bailouts and gave themselves bonuses… Is there a repeating pattern here?

    It’s the people’s fault for going along with the system for so long so they get what they deserve…

    When these people were polluting and destroying other folks’ lives in other countries nobody cared so why now?

    Just like 9/11 brought home to america the consequences of its foreign policy, the BP event has brought home to america the consequences of selfish demand for cheap oil…
