Man Killed By Oakland Police Near BART Station

A man who was shot and killed on Saturday morning by Oakland and BART police officers after charging against them with knives in each hand was identified as 48-year-old Oakland resident Fred Collins.

Collins was shot multiple times after leading five officers on a chase that started at 8:15 a.m. a few blocks west of the BART Fruitvale Station and ended in the 1500 block of 33rd Avenue.

    Sounds very suspicious …. Why did they stop him on feet …. This article doesn’t mentions that he was involved in any act of crime …. Did he fear for his life when he ran from the police ??? was the police stalking him before this day ??? Did he know something or have something that could end the career of one of the officers involved in his death ??? Is his murder related to a previous situation or cover-up ??? Are police involve in some criminal activities …… I think that the police are common criminals !!!
    This was like a gang killing or something of that nature !!!

    I was just thinking…. You know some of the most beautiful places in the world are the most dangerous! I remember riding through Oakland, CA last year sometime to a beautiful mall they had over there. While chatting with the bus driver I was told if I plan to move out west, remove Oakland from your mind-map!!! Although I feel in a lot of these incidences, there is enough blame to go around. Why not use the tasers as opposed to gunning someone down for a knife!? A lot to be learned here. It’s just sad the civillian gets that lesson with death!
